After the cutscene where the joker injects himself, this was happening with the last boss.
I think it's happening because I got an upgrade right after the fight before the last boss.
This was the PC version (GOTY), but it happened to me on the PS3 version also (not GOTY).

How lame that an otherwise very well polished game has such a nasty bug at such an important moment like this... :-[
