Favorite Arkham game is City for the story and how well they improved the combat and stealth sections.

I think Prometheus would have been great as the Arkham Knight’s second-in-command instead of Deathstroke. I think he would have better connected with Jason in terms of facing trauma as a child/young man. For Jason, it was his childhood and life with Batman. For Prometheus, it was his criminal parents’ deaths and hatred for law enforcement. The desire for revenge against Batman (who also happens to believe in the law) would also have made them see eye-to-eye. Not to mention Prometheus’s combat experience and fellow anti-Batman persona.

Don't know much about the Prometheus mission, but I'd have made Mad Hatter's section an endless maze, like a sort of hall of mirrors effect, where enemies appear through the walls, but you can't go through them (maybe with poisonous branches that hurt you like the electric gates in the game). You'd have to solve a puzzle to "unlock" the maze and leave.

Arkham origins is my favorite to play. The reason is that it is the first time to play as a younger version of Batman that is still learning how to be a hero that he is always meant to be. Plus seeing the villains that first encounters is will done in my opinion.

There were meant to be other locations added to Arkham Island including the lighthouse we see in the final game but it was meant to be explorable, there was also a chapel island that included a graveyard and was meant to be the location for a Batcave. And of course, Mad Hatter was meant to be in Batman Arkham Asylum in a hedge maze

With all the teasing going around, you would think the Great White Shark would make an appearance.

Asylum had an amazing narrative coupled with the perfect Batman horror experience. City had the best story overall, a big open world nearly triple that of Asylum which contained a lot of side content. Origins, being the underrated of the bunch, was such a nice, balanced experience, having a younger Bruce interact with Gotham on one of it’s most dangerous nights, which made for an awesome chapter in the Caped Crusader’s journey. Origins Blackgate, dare I say it, was a nice, 2D-side scrolling refresher. Yes, it sucked, but in the good kind of way. Arkham VR was really cool but was full of flaws, being VR and all. And finally…my favorite…Batman: Arkham Knight. Knight is on top. It’s absolutely stunning graphics, immersive combat/stealth, flawless side mission integration within the story, and it’s expansive DLC (no pun intended) all make for - at least what I think - the best Arkham game. Sure, it’s story may not be the best, it’s end reveal was disappointing, the overuse of the Batmobile (don’t even get me started on the Cloudburst Tank fight), and some of it’s side missions being a bit repetitive makes the game a little uneventful and quite honestly tedious at times, it is still my favorite out of all of the games, and it will remain that way. I love the variety of characters, their corresponding DLC stories, and the ability to use them in challenges make for a really nice post game experience. Batman: Arkham Knight is, in my eyes, a masterpiece.

Arkham City was favorite because it featured Clayface who is one of my favorite batman villains. It was neat to see him in Asylum but I wish he had a bigger role in the game than just being trapped in his cell

Arkham Asylum is my favorite game in the series. I remember when it first came out and I was obsessed from the beginning. The claustrophobic environment making you feel trapped is why I like it the best.

Bunch of good villains in the game. Joker, Harley, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Zsasz, Bane, and Poison Ivy are all real opponents. Plus Riddler is a voice in the back. Clayface is hiding in a cell. Scareface of The Ventriloquist is seen. And then the references and easter eggs to Ra's al Ghul, Tweetle Dee and Tweetle Dum, Killer Moth, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, probably more.

It might be my nostalgia talking but my favourite Arkham game is probably Origins. It was my first one.

Favorite game is Arkham City for the major expansion of the skill tree and fun side missions such as Cold Call Killer and the Riddler challenge rooms with hostages. Not to mention the great story.

As amazing as Asylum is as a game, I still think it really misses its mark the most in its LACK of content in some areas. Namely side missions and minor villain characters like Mad Hatter or even some more obscure characters like Humpty Dumpty or Rat Catcher. Even Calendar Man would've made an excellent addition to the game. Asylum just feels so empty compared to the other Arkham games. Hatter should've definitely been a side mission character. Even if it was just a think were Batman had to prevent him from retrieving his trademark hat and he has to fight some brainwashed henchmen Hatter did manage to take control of in the Asylum or something. I also think they could've done a thing were some of the more D/C-tier level of infamous villains Batman's fought over the years should've been rendered so they were still in their cells when Batman first comes to the Asylum. Almost like a who's-who display of Batman's greatest villains hits on display. I mean, they already had it set up were you got to see the separate cells for Two Face, Penguin, and Freeze, who weren't even in the first game to begin with. Why not record some voice lines and render some molds for them in Asylum jump suites to help set up the sequel?

My favorite Batman Arkham game is Batman Arkham city reason amazing story, amazing villains amazing performances by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as always may Kevin Conroy rest in peace. I loved being able to traverse the world in a Batman game for the first time and actually being able to feel like Batman, and not be confined inside one island being the city is also closed off in walls. It feels just as claustrophobic as Asylum, but not as claustrophobic. I also love all of the enhancements were made from Asylum to Arkham city

I thought the reason why Mr Freeze didn't make it in was interesting, considering his storyline in "City"

Origins. Great story, and the cutscenes just make the game feel cool start to finish. Also the gloves and remote claw are broken and I love them

There actually was a hallucination element in the Arkham Knight mission. At the end Batman gets transported into the Hatter's book and has 3 fighting sections before the mission ends. But it's still different in the sense that the three sections are based on each Rocksteady game; the first is set in Asylum, the second in City, and the third in Knight. And that adds to something else you said, it bookends not only Mad Hatter's story in the franchise, but also is a nice trip down memory lane in the final game

My favorite Arkham game is Arkham City, if I had to describe it In ONE word it would : Epic. The music is grand, the characters all amazing the story is perfect with a Batman being pushed to his limits with litteraly a Hourglass on his head to save the city while trying to save himself. It's just a masterpiece I would play a thousand times and NEVER get bored

My favorite Arkham game is City because the story is great, it had really good side missions, and the combat was improved from asylum. Lately I've had lots of fun playing Knight though. Knights combat is my favorite hands down. Its defintly my second favorite game in the series.

The game's final fight could've been so much better if all the other Arkham villains, hyped up on venom, attacked Batman in the arena.

City is my favorite. Because i think it utilizes batmans rogues gallery the best in the main story.

Origins is the most peak Arkham game. It's the 2'nd to last game in the series so the combat is nearly perfected and it's really fun and smooth to play, and also it's so cool to just honestly have an insight on a young and reckless Batman.

My favorite Arkham game would depend on the day. For the gameplay I'd have to go with Arkham Knight. For story I'd go with Arkham Origins. For favorite game to return to and sink some hours in once and a while, Arkham City. So Asylum would be my least favorite, but that's not to say it's bad.

Batman: Arkham Asylum is my favourite for the story, location, atmosphere and especially the Scarecrow sections. Just wish it had the amount of alternate Batsuits like in Arkham City and Arkham Knight.

My fave is still Knight because of the storyline. The darker aspects and delving into how Scarecrow functions was just grand. I feel that City has the best boss fights, but ultimately without a good story it doesn't matter and that's why Knight is my fave

i would have to say my favorite batman arkham game changes throughout the years. i play all of them so much and love them all equally but my favorite rn is batman arkham origins. i just love the story and troy baker as joker nails it (not as good as mark but yk) plus roger as batman does a phenomenal job. it still has the amazing features from city as well. i used to play a crap ton on my xbox 360, one, and even series x but i recently got it on steam and downloaded the worst nightmare batman skin and played the whole game with it. I ALWAYS WANTED THAT SKIN lol thanks WB montreal

Arkham Asylum will always be my favorite. I was so skeptical when it came out like no way they made a great Batman game because I’ve played so many bad ones. The feel of the Asylum brought all the comics and the animated series come to life. It really gave the feeling of criminals being locked up with Batman, not Batman being locked up with a bunch of criminals. And I read some comics and watched the animated show, I always wanted to see more of the Asylum and why these guys keep being sent there and breaking out. City, Knight and Origins are very good too, but Asylum will always have that goated spot in my heart.

I don't mind if a couple of side missions in a game feel somewhat alike as long as it adds content and villains'

My favorite arkham game is arkham knight not just because of the graphics and game play but that game helped me through a tough time for a good while I would just grind through it I can't count how many times I've played the story I like the scarecrow batmobile sequence it kinda brought me back to asylum with scarecrow and I do like the other ones aswell just I love arkham knight more than any other batman game and possibly any other superhero game. The other 2 that challenge knight for me are marvels spiderman 2 and infamous 2

Personally, while I havent gotten the chance to screw with it yet and this is a bit of a hot take towards the Arkham community, I love Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. Hear me out, its not for the gameplay. Its too repetitive. My highlight is the characters. They are all so fun to listen to, and I mean come on, Joker's "Put it in me." Scene is hilarious

I love the Story, I love the Gear that Batman can use, especially that one that Batman gets from Deathstroke. The Bossfights are all fun, the DLC was great, I really love the Side Missions, the detective Stuff was fun as well, the Multiplayer was fun and I really like Cold Cold Heart. Also really liked the I AM THE NIGHT Mode. I wish WB would do a fully fleshed out Arkham Multiplayer like in Origins just bigger and better. If they want Live Service so much they can Profit on this much better than...you know what Game...o_o

The Arkham franchise missed a golden opportunity to incorporate random encounters in their games. For example in asylum they could have thrown in lower tier villains in as standard thugs as an example when you run into the fake ambulance worker ambush it could have been led by a deranged Maxie Zeus wielding an electric baton spouting out insane lines during the encounter. It's quick and simple and adds a layer of fun to the encounters. They could have thrown killer moth into a predator encounter preferably in the aviary where his riddler clue is he could be the first enemy you have to take down and during the whole lead up to him he talks himself up as the biggest bad around it would be the electrocutioner boss fight before origins. They could have thrown these low tier not essential to the plot at all villains around the maps in every game. My personal favorite would be in city you would run into black mask several times and each time he would look rougher and rougher after each beating.

I would've liked to see him in Arkham Asylum.

Arkham City will always be my favourite of tbe arkham games. Every aspect of the combat was massively improved from asylum. The story was brilliant. Being able to glide around gotham for the 1st tine and the boss fights and number of villains in it as well made it the best for me personally. Also the fantastic Kevin Conrou and Mark Hamill doing the voices of batman and joker as well was the icing on a fantastic cake. Also loved asylum and origins as well. The story in origins was brilliant imo but knight even tho it was amazing graphically wise the dissappointing story, far too many crap tank battles and no real boss fights made ot the worst of the 4 games for me. It was far too obvious who the arkham knight was early on and if they had cut out 50/60% of the tank battles and included proper boss fights against scarecrow, deathstroke, hush etc it could have been the best of the arkham games

I think City is the best but i love origins cause imo it has the best story. It just feels like everything from city is in origins but slightly worse except for story so Origins is my fav.

In Arkham City, anyone who thought you were getting the cure when you got that radio call is naive. That was obviously fake, but you couldn't do anything about it, even if you knew, except skip it, which isn't satisfying.

I would've love to have seen a very random villain from Batmans history in the game: King Tut and Egghead

Knight is the worst imo. Story wise, the tank battles, even the gadgets and new fear takedowns, were just off from what we were used to. And they totally dropped the ball on the co-op fights. Could have been amazing, but I just finished this ONCE, while I played through the other 3 like 6x each, if not more, while having a lot of other games
