So just so you now about the significance of Two-Face's double-headed coin, it once belonged to Harvey Dent's father before it entered his possession. Using it, he would decide whether a young Harvey would be beat or not should the coin land on heads - the coin always landing on heads. It was later damaged when Harvey was disfigured when acid was thrown on him half his left side of his body was scarred and he became Two-Face and he views the coin to a reflection of himself, with one head good and one bad and uses it to make choises.

Everyone sees you everywhere, but I think here, your energy is wasted. I doubt these guys would read the comments explaining lore (let alone that they themselves read any comments at all). Big channel, lots of stuff and they're not actually playing the game themselves? They just rush through this and move on. Doubt anything really sticks.

@@Rizzy-Bizzy20 1. that's not even English 2. I think you're understanding me wrong. I actually appreciate this guy's efforts on a lot of arkham videos. It's just that it's highly obvious the reactors here won't. They barely care about any details given they're watching an overall story-only playthrough video. They wouldn't be bothered with doing anything more than that. I mean, I'd love if they'd have read all the character bio's 'cause that's major (back-)story stuff they're just 'missing'. But again, I doubt they really care. They're too big and have too much stuff to do to focus on one game's details. Even if they're worth it.

2:50 Hugo Strange is also a Batman villain. From what I remember, he's a psychologist who is obsessed of discovering the identity of Batman and understand his mindset. He also wants to become Batman himself.

In the first game, Harley Quinn was voiced by Arleen Sorkin but she did not reprise her all for the other games. Arleen Sorkin, who is the original and most iconic voice of Harley Quinn from Batman The Animated Series alongside Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker, and for the rest of the Arkham games Harley was voiced by Tara Strong who voiced Barbara Gordon in Batman The Animated Series. Sadly Arleen passed away a few months ago. I can hardly comprehend that we lost Kevin not too long ago and now we've lost another legend. Many people played Harley Quinn since Arleen like Tara Strong, Margot Robbie and Hynden Walch but Arleen IS Harley Quinn and always will be. I basically grew up always with Arleen's voice always close by and similar with Kevin now that she's gone it's like a part of me has died too. May she rest in peace.

The reason why Batman does a million punches on some goons is because they are protected by heavy armor, so it’s the only way to take them down besides doing the special takedowns

To be honest, I really think this game put Hugo Strange on the map. He was a way lesser known Batman villain before this and is one of the few people outside the Bat Family that knows Bruce's identity. Fun fact: He actually predates the Joker in terms of creation. Hugo Strange's first appearance was February 1940, while Joker's was in April of the same year

As Mark Hamill as Joker once said “Without Batman, crime has no punchline” Joker only enjoys doing crime when he has Batman to chase him. And since Kevin passed away in 2022 Mark has officially retired from playing the Joker because Kevin was his Batman he didn’t want to do Joker unless Kevin was also hired for the project. Over the course of 30 years they became really close friends starting with BTAS.

8:00 for a split second here you can see Azreal, watching everything from the roof top 49:00 those one armed thugs are known as 'The Abramovici Twins', thorugh out the game we can hear their conversations and they had a crazy story arc.

Its not explained in the story I think, only in optional lore that you can unlock, but Mr Hammer and Sickle were siamese twins until the Joker surgically separated them. Thats why both only have one arm.

The one armed men were twin conjoined brothers who worked at a circus. Joker thought it would be funny to have them separated so hd could have a one armed strong-man, but he only wanted one, and told (i believe?) Harley to get rid of the other one. The one That Harley and Joker took became Mr Hammer, and the other one found work with Penguin before being named Mr Sickle

Arkham City has more side content than Asylum's, but it flows alright without it if you miss it... Arkham Knight on the other hand gets tricky when a large amount of the game is side content that gets left unfinished if you just do the main story, because it's introduced within the story, but they move to do whatever.

I played this game a lot and got the 100%. Catwoman really is a lot of fun. She has less tech, but her agility really makes a difference in combat. It is funny how if you listen to the NPC dialog around town. The thugs talk about how it’s winter and below freezing. Yet Catwoman is walking around in a skintight cat suit zipped down to her sternum. This edit of the story completely left out that in the water is a giant, great white shark. Not that it’s plot, which is likely why. Just a wild, shocking reveal.

Solomon Grundy is an immortal zombie super-villain from the 19th Century with several origins. Originally murdered in the mysterious Slaughter Swamp, he resurrects and regenerates there every time he is killed again in his zombie form. This cycle of reincarnation also gives him different abilities every time, so over the years he has varied drastically in strength and intelligence. He has been a member of the Black Lantern Corps, Injustice League, Injustice Society, Legion of Doom, Secret Society of Super-Villains, Suicide Squad and the Fatal Five. Solomon Grundy was created by Alfred Bester and Paul Reinman, first appearing in All-American Comics #61 (1944).

Hugo Strange was created as the Mortiarty to batman's Sherlock Holmes and he was the first recurring villain that Batman faced in the comics. He even predates the Joker. He was initially created as a mad scientist who used various technological devices and serums to carry out his crimes but over time the character was reimagined to be more of a twisted psychiatrist. A comic that really explores the character well is "Prey", which is set in Batman's early career and in which he deduces Batman's secret identity. His deal in the comics became that he considered Batman to be the at the peak of human physical and mental capacity and hence he occasionally would dress up as Batman in order to replace Batman.

teaching again :) 1. Professor Hugo Strange or doctor Strange is the only Super Villain who knows batman true face. 2. Arkham City was part of Gotham until the mayor Sharp said yes to build a max prison in the middle part of the city what made a lot of ppl homeless and some left behind the walls along with the inmates. 3. Two-Face, Penguin and Joker are at a gang war what make the story a lot better. 4. Two-Face and Harvey Dent are like two different ppl in one body that why he talks to him self a lot. 5. the medicals got alone with cash and the guards are one of the innocents who got thrown into Arkham City. 6. Mr Hammer and Sickle are the Abramovici Twins who got into a fight and then spited they went to join two different teams you can find them at the ending regretting splitting. 7. Solomon Grundy is base off the nursery rhyme he is also a classic batman villain. last one Ra al Ghul have been alive for over 600 years he also i man of power and of a great team called league of assassins.

About Batman's cape, there was a moment in an animated show where batman's cape was stuck in a shredder while he was trying to help Superman save Lois. He removed the cape, but unfortunately, his Cowl was a part of the cape, leading to Lois learning Bruce is Batman. Later on, Batman separated the Cowl and Cape, so they can be removed separately.

Because these videos cut out a lot of important pieces of dialogue and in general pars of the game that are not part of the cutscenes, after you finish the story for Arkham City can you please react to the interview tapes of the game and the Easter eggs videos because they help make the world feel bigger and expand on the characters. For example, Riddler is one of them most prominent characters in all four of the Batman Arkham games but if you're just watching the cutscenes you might not see him.

Mark Hamill is definitely my Joker, Kevin is my Batman. This specific interpretation of Joker is hands down my favorite. To me Joker has no redeeming qualities, he is pure evil, chaos incarnate, and that’s what makes his dynamic with Batman so unique. Batman will never kill but Joker will always try to make him cross that line, Joker can never be cured because he’s pure evil and Batman will always save him because deep down he wants to redeem him. It’s an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.

From what I’ve read, both “rahz” and “raysh” are both technically correct pronunciations but for different reasons. The word Ra’s in the Arabic language that inspired his name is pronounced “rahz”, but the person who created the character intended his name to be pronounced “raysh”.

For context, Arkham City was once North Gotham. Hugo Strange cordoned off the area and shoved all the inmates inside. They have free reign of the place, but can't leave.

It's probably safe to say this video won't go into the side stuff, so if you're curious about Mr. Hammer and Abromovici (The big one-armed men), they were conjoined twins. They got into a fight and had a surgery to separate. Mr. Hammer joined Joker's gang and his brother joined Penguin's. By the end of the game, though, they resolve their differences and decide that they will have a surgery to be rejoined when they get out of Arkham City.

Heath's Joker got a couple of laughs, like when Batman beat him up in the interrogation room and when he's falling to his supposed death. But yeah, his character was more dry overall.

The way they prononce ra's al ghul in the movie is the more accurate one. it means Ogre's head in Arabic. the way they saying it here is how they pronounced it in the cartoon, probably why they decided to keep it.

I would have warn them to watch the trailer, is like a mini cut scene with hugo strange and batman. In batman origen also have a mini cut scene i don't think they should miss, is a build up not a spoiler.

One thing that wasn’t shown in this gameplay. The exhibit where the ninja was kept, there were others that referenced a bunch of Batman’s villains. In one of them, there are two stuffed hyenas. Harley’s hyenas. Messed up stuff

It is more fun when you play this game cause when you play you really see how big this map really is. If you like Kevin Conroy as Batman I recommend checking out Batman the Animated Series. It's such a great show. Kevin and Mark are so iconic in this show. From what I understand it's actually Raz not Rache. Rache does sound better, especially when Kevin says it.
