I think this guys gonna get an A+. This was a very well done and informative presentation for his fellow classmates. And let's not forget the participation marks for those kind gentlemen that waited for him to be done his point before speaking.

Imagine if in the vantage point part of the briefing and you still don't take him out, the dudes will suddenly look up causing a game over

I love how the Batman games give the henchmen their own personalities. Like I want to root for them because they are all adorably stupid in their own way. Like when the leader points out medics, that one guy in the corner is silently cheering. I love it!

Not gonna lie, I liked this moment a lot. They added a lot of new things to face Batman, equipment wise, besides the thermal goggles and it made some encounters intense. My favourite was the suits that you couldn't track with your detective vision and you had to look them without the help of technology

The whole "His Bat-Signal is supposed to make you shoot at it" thing is actually genius, since most guys treat the "Center-Mass" method where they just aim for the chest. But, center-mass doesn't work when you have a Bullet-Sponge on your chest.

I absolutely love this. This is the devs' way of implementing a tutorial without making the player read immersion-breaking popups. It's the game's way of teaching the player what to expect while still keeping it in line with the immersiveness of the gameplay and story, keeping the player engaged. This also rewards patient players who are more tactical thinkers and observant, as opposed to the majority of players that will just barge through everything and wonder why they keep dying and uninstall the game because they didn't pay attention.

I like how he missed that Batman can also use weak walls to hunt, and that's exactly how he went down.

Finally, a guy who knows how to beat Batman with facts

The greatest mistake the Arkham Knight made was letting success go to his head; he had Batman cornered multiple times during the story, but each time he grew overconfident, and hesitated. And hesitation is defeat. But his knowledge of Batman's weaknesses was also incomplete. He didn't have any means to directly counter Batman's greatest asset; his tactical brilliance. So long as Batman's mind is clear and focused, he can find the smallest weak point in your plans and defenses and exploit it in spectacular fashion. The Arkham Knight needed to teach his soldiers to distract Batman, keep him off balance, keep the pressure on, not give him time to think. They needed to employ surprise attacks and be unpredictable instead of simply trying to overcome him with frontal assaults in every engagement.

Well, that militia leader was right. Batman does study his enemies from the shadows. He’s even doing it in this very video.

I love how these discussed tactics are actually used by the AI. In predator segments, the militia will drop bombs in the grates and make them unusable. They'll shoot the gargoyles and vantage points which also makes them unusable. They even plant bombs on them. And they aim for your legs if they see you, and Batman will stumble sometimes when hit by bullets

Man I LOVE the significant small details in this. The fact they all cheer for the Sentry Guns because it's the most fun part, the way one member goes back to Suicide Vests two minutes after they're talked about because that would logically be on their mind. This series of games for me as someone who enjoys free roaming / superhero games, will NEVER be beaten. It's a true love letter to everything in the Batman Universe, and even if there isn't a new one, I'll forever be grateful to Rocksteady and Warner Bros. Montreal for this gift of pure fanfare.

When I came across those guys and listened to their conversations, I was like: "Dude, you all have no idea what kind of beast you're dealing with." XD

Considering these guys can't beat a man who doesn't kill, I wonder how fast they would've fallen to someone more than willing to kill.

Ngl the gameplay for the militia was really awesome. It's like bossfight from previous games in every encounter, really cool. Like yeah the fighting might not be as good but that's the point, no one's fight as good as bat, so they focuses on something else. Kinda want batman appreciate the milita effort to counter batman tactics, because some of it does works, but well he did acknowledge arkham knight for his tactics

And that briefing still did not make a damn difference in the end. It just cost Batman a few more minutes when taking these mercs out.

I'll be honest, this was a pretty good militia, a pretty good and well funded militia. Minus the unmanned tanks, they probably could have taken out Batman, they knew his weaknesses, his strengths and how to turn them into weaknesses and how to get rid of his advantages. He uses detective vision to scout out his foes and hides while using it? Employ soldiers with trackers to find him or employ soldiers with suits that can render you invisible from his vision. He sneaks around the area? Employ motion activated turrets to either shoot him down or give away his hiding position. He's hiding in the vents? Use thermo charges to keep out or burn him alive. He's above you? Destroy the vantage points with explosives. Even that bomb vest is good tactic, granted it didn't work here because they got cocky, but in the right circumstance it could work. They were a pretty solid group, with some good tactics and some good equipment to boot.

This is what I like about this game. There’s points like this where they record minutes of dialogue that just add to the realism. One I found was in the first riddler race where he goes through all of his rules

The details in this game still amaze me. This was way ahead of its time.

I love the double purpose of this briefing: not only does it show how capable the militia is and house well thought out their tactics are, this also teaches the player how the henchmen will act and what they will do when they see you, allowing you to outsmart them with knowledge you *organically gained.*

I like In the fight after listening to this, they will actually use those strategies, medics will revive more and the militia actually say things such as "remember aim for his legs!"

I love the fact they recorded all of this dialogue knowing most players would just go on ahead and disarm the vest man just show the attention to detail with the fact they thought people would like to listen 👏👏

The fact that...batman is staring at all of them while they are discussing was to take him down. Man this is scary....

They wear white suit and carry defribillator that function to revive the fallen soldier and even equipped them with electrical Current by charging their suits. 3. Combat Experts : A Ninja Soldiers that carry a Katana. They are agiles and specialist at Sword Combat like an assassins. 4. Brute : A Huge Soldiers well armored like soldiers. They are the Heavy Unit for the Militia. 5. Tracker : A Soldiers equipped with a tracer. A Device that can pinpiint Batman location if he use Detective Mode for to Long. 6. Weapon Expert Brute : Brute that use weapons like weist sword, electric Gloves, and Riot Shield. 7. Optic Camouflage Soldier : A Soldier wore an Optical Deflection armor. All of them were invisible when in Detective Mode. 8. Minigunner : A Brute that was equipped with Minigun that would destroy Batman to pieces. 9. APC Lieutenants : A High-ranking Lieutenants that was equipped with APCs and patrol the streets. 10. Checkpoint Commanders : Red Light Soldiers that command the checkpoint B. Militia Drones : 1. Python : A Stationary Cannons that protect several Militia Watchtowers and Checkpoints. They need to be destroye din order for Batwing to enter several area. 2. Sentry Guns : Automated Turrets that would lay dow suppression fire and alert Militia of Batman location. 3. Rattler : Most default Tank Drones. It was equipped with single cannon. 4. Twin-Rattler : A Tank drones equipped with two cannons. 5. Diamondback : A Tank Drone with an armored ptotection for it's cannon. 6. Mamba : A Tank Drone equipped with Missile Rack Launchers that shootout Homing missiles. 7. Cobra : The Most damgerous Tank drone that has tracer and a Cliber cannon that can shred Batmobile to pieces. The Weakness is in the Back. 8. Boa : An aerial Drones that equipped with Taser Guns 9. Serpents : A Quadrotor Drones that patrol the sky of Gotham 10. Comms Relay Drone : A Drone used for Communication Transmisison. Also used to plant Bombs all ove Gotham. 11. Dragon : A Helicopter Drones that equipped with Missiles and Cannons. C. Militia Tactics against Batman : 1. Wearing An Explosive Vest, so when Batman knock him unconcious it would explode. 2. Sentry Guns would alert Batman position if he was shot. 3. They would shoot at Batman on his entire body not the Protective Bat Symbols. 4. The aerial Boa Drones would alert Militia of his Location. 5. If Batman didn't take out the Medic, they would revive those he knock out. And even equipped their suit with electrical currents. 6. Some of the Militia wear an Optic-deflection Armor which would make them invisible to detective Mode. 7. Some of them would search where Batman Hide and destroy his hiding Places, just like the Usual Thugs. 8. Some of the Militia would also lure Batman out if he hide in the Ventillation System. 9. The Explosive Expert would plant Mines and Charges that would explode when Batman Close. 10. If Batman use the Detective Mode to long, the Tracker Soldier would be able to found where he Hide. 11. Some of the Militia are equipped with Jammer Signal Reciever that would make Detective Mode useless. 12. Cobra Drones are able to cause lot of Damage on the BatMobile. 13. Python would shot down every flying object including Batwing unless Batman took them out. 14. The High ranking lieutenant were equipped with APCs. 15. Serpent Drones Patrol the entire Sky. 16. All of Gotham Island has been lockdown with their Invasion and occupation as they sent Tanks all over the streets and set up Checkpoints to control the street. 17. They Plant Bombs all over Islands that Batman has to destroy. 18. They use several Buildings as their Watchtowers that Batman has to shutdown.

What's also really nice about this sequence is that it indirectly educates the player, too, about what to expect during a Predator sequence against these guys. Love it when exposition or tutorials are hidden in plain sight like this.
