After Broken Bird 2.0 and the New Batman Adventures, I think it’s probably for the best that Batman Beyond and BTAS remains distinct and separate from each other from universal ranges.😒

I think they are still in the same universe and timespace overall.. Beyond is just one of the multiple possible futures of BTAS. And at this moment Earth 0 Batman is being thrown through both. To add BTAS like many others has multiple possible outcomes and extensions for example the Adventures Continued is a timeline of its own. But the writers do intend for it to have rough connections here and there.

8:40 Speaking of "The Killing Joke", the Elseworld comic "In Darkest Night" show us an alternate outcome of the Joker's origin, as, in this reality, Bruce became a Green Lantern during the events of "Year One" and used his powers to stop Red Hood and his two henchmen before the worst could happen, thus avoiding the creation of the Joker. The Red Hood then tells Bruce he had a really bad day, to which the Green Lantern Bruce replies that is no excuse for his crimes, because everyone has terrible days and yet most people know to deal with it, causing Hood to apoligize for his actions. It's a pretty interesting story

15:06 The Joker from the "Red Rain" trilogy is truly underrated. Not only his design was pretty badass, but it's also pretty cool the fact he became Lord of the Vampires and even won Batman even though he NEVER became a vampire in that story

Curiously, it was once planned to include a fight between this Batman and Rorschach during the "Countdown: Arena" event (according to a promotional art that depicts them in a Battle Royale), something that sadly never happened

Really loved the different versions of Batman shown from 14:40 onwards. Awesome to see Michael Keaton's Batman & Adam West's Batman. Not exactly an into the spiderverse, but I would love a version of this as an animated movie (maybe on a Batman anniversary) to pay tribute to Adam West and Kevin Conroy’s legacies while celebrating the character of Batman and what he means to the world in every iteration no matter how different they seem. Edit: 19:31 These stupid overly fan service moments are why I still *try* to follow comics despite all the shit the big two have and will always do, they’re just fun.

My goodness this comic story is beyond bloody AWESOME! I love all the nods to so many iconic and beloved versions of Batman. Keaton, classic comics, 4 versions of the one & only true Batman, Kevin Conroy… B;TAS, Batman Beyond, Arkham & Injustice Batman; Gotham by Gaslight Batman, Kingdom Come Batman, Adam West Batman, Dark Knight Returns Batman. Etc. So much fan service and nostalgia. I Love It!! Also, it’ll be interesting to see where prime Earth Batman goes from here with his cybernetic prosthetic hand. He’s probably gonna have to find a way to explain that to his Bat-Family and maybe the public about how Bruce Wayne lost his hand.

My theory was that Red Mask Bruce Wayne of the universe without Batman since the dead Bruce was possibaly from another universe with that Multiversal energy he was giving off, but my theory was wrong.

It’s just id. Goes back to the beginnings of psychology with Freud, supposing that the mind was made of three parts: Id, Ego, and Superego. Id being the lowest and most primal parts of the mind. Think the lower parts of Maslow’s hierarchy, safety, hunger, and reproductive “needs”.
