Let’s cook onion rings. Crispy tender batter, sweet and juicy onion with a special taste. Excellent appetizer or side dish served with any sauce.

Ingredients:
• white large onion - 3
• flour - 250 g
• baking powder - ½ tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• black pepper - ¼ tsp
• light beer - 150 ml
• cold water - 2 tbsp
• cold water for onion - 1,5 l
• vegetable oil - 1 l
Preparation:
1. Cut the onion into rings 7-8 mm of thickness and put into cold water.
2. Add the salt, pepper, baking powder to 125 g of flour and mix. Add the beer and 2 tbsp of water and mix well until incorporated.
3. Take out the onion rings on a paper towel.
4. Coat each onion ring in the flour, then dredge in the batter and put into well-heated oil.
5. Fry for 2-3 minutes over high heat until golden brown.
6. Lay out the fried rings on a paper towel to drain.
7. Serve the battered onion rings with favourite sauces. Enjoy!
