I used to play with RC electricial models and I was always sceptical about that "no memory" thing. I used whole bunch of different types of batteries, from NiCd to Li-pol. I always used hi-end, competitive chargers that allowed me to see, exactly how many amp-hours actualy "got into" my battery (it also allows for charge-discharge cycling to regenerate batteries, setting your own charging current and much more fun stuff that taught me alot about batteries and electronics in general). Let me tell you: the better you treat you batteries, the better they gonna last and perform. And it's true for all types batteries, NiMH, Li-ion, you name it. ALWAYS try to discharge and charge them fully. Also, the lower the charging current, the longer the charging (obviously), but also the charging is better and moe efficient with the lower current (more Ah go in) and it's much better for the longevity of the battery. It is reccomended, for the long service of battery, to charge it with the current of 0,1C (e.g 2Ah battery - 0,2A charging current, which gives 10h of charging). Ocasionally, if you hurry you can increase it to 1C (1h charging), but not too often. It's not reccomended to exceed 1C, ever. It's weird to me that these days companies focus so much on performance of the phones, stuff like quick charging, but not the batteries themself. Plus you cannot exchange them easily these days and chargers are crap as always, which creates nothing but problems. And it's not even that difficult to make 5000mAh batteries that are small and fit in the phone (RC people used them for years).

Could you potentially do a video on how the computer power supply works, or the voltage regulators works. Not going to lie it would be great for when I have to cover Ohm's law.

In my younger ignorance I used to put alkaline batteries in a battery recharger and it actually brought them back to life for a couple more days. Maybe it just mixed up what was left who knows but it worked mildly with the more expensive brands and not so much with the cheaper ones.

So mah question is (powerbank) the lipo charges ur phone faster than the li ion and the li ion dies faster than the lipo right? If its right it i will buy for 60$ a lipo powerbank with 12000 mah with Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 with a usb c connecter + normal usb from cellularline (is that company good?)

you can refresh alkaline batteries if they are still 1.2V or over. there are recharger which can refresh them. and there were RAM which were rechargeable alkaline

If anyone is wondering why alkalines say 1.5v and NiMh rechargeables say 1.2v.... The very short answer is that alkalines drop to 1.2v when under load and NiMh stay at 1.2v under load or not. The reason why NiMh lasts longer in some devices is that Nimh hold that 1.2v almost uniformly until out of "juice." Alkalines droop to that 1.2v then continue to gradually droop below to 1.15v....1.1v......on so on until it's dead.

I've charged Alkalines before, it usually works but it only gives you like a quarter to half of the battery time that you'd normally get, but if your in a pinch and can't afford 1-6 dollars for batteries well charging batteries seems to work... just watch them carefully.

I am always confused when people complain about needing to plug their phone in every night. Like I get that we want to be lazy, but how inconvenient can it really be? You're likely going to be sleeping in a place that will provide such a outlet to plug your phone's charger into. I mean, I understand "progress" and all that, but honestly the people that think batteries are not good when they only last for 26 hours are fucking idiots. They are good, and anything past 24 hours worth of battery life is a luxury akin to a champagne really. It literally sounds like millionaires bitching that they only got to drink one bottle of Armand every night, and that's why I really wish batteries stagnate so people just shut the fuck up about battery life. People are idiots, thinking charging their phone every night when they go to bed is too much work.

I haven't used rechargeable AA batteries in years and now I need them for a trimmer. I have an old Varta charger which has been gathering dust for at least five years. According to info online it charges both NiMH and NiCd batteries so I guess I should be fine. I didn't know about that distinction.

Actually there are several battery types that are ready but the prosess is slown down by goverments etc. There is even a battery you can cut with a scissor etc while in use with no chance of shorting and exploding
