She really does sound even more dynamic in some of the previous songs like Madness and Far Far Away. Whatshername from Unleash The Archers is probably a pretty close second.

Britney is alright at signing in one particular style (her soft vocals are boring as fuck), Noora is more versatile and gritty.

Do NOT miss the chance to see Battlebeast live if you can possibly help it. Noora has incredible energy and stage presence! They opened for Kamelot, but I would have gone home intensely happy after just seeing Battlebeast.

Got that chance while in Montreal years before the Pandemic started, but I'd more say like it was an honour, they were backing Sabaton, a hell of a show, it was my first time, I just hope they soon come back, this time as a full headliner....

I just went to this big festival in São Paulo a few weeks back - their brazillian debut! - Anthrax, Mercyfull Fate, Killswitch engage, Death Angel... I went for Battle Beast and, if I had gone home afterwards, I would still have seen the best performance of the day.

I love Noora's vocal, listened to almost all female heavy metal vocals since early 80's. I agree, she has probably the best toned vocals in HR and HM however Jutta Weinhold from Zed Yago/Velvet Viper is first on my list :) I bet lady Weinhold did influence on Noora. Cheerz brother! \m/

I have to admit that I was worried a couple of years ago when Battle Beast announced they had parted ways with guitarist and main songwriter Anton Kabanen. I'm happy to say the new album proves the band can write good songs by themselves as well. Out of the whole album there are only two weak tracks, Dancing With The Beast and Far From Heaven, the rest all kick ass. Ventures into new and previously uncharted musical territories like Lost In Wars would be good to hear from them in the future. All in all I give this album a 4 stars out of five. Anton, the challenge has been made, bring on the debut of Beast In Black!

Yet you must admit that the songs in the new album are good, but used to be awesome, many ideas are stolen, and there is too much disco! But this happens when you are friends with Sabaton. However looking forward for Anton's band Beast In Black debut with high hopes!

The last two tracks are the weakest on this superb album but the frustrating thing is that there are 2 cracking songs on the bonus CD that are miles better!

I totally agree Drake..I don't usually dig female metal vocals but this chick really makes me rethink my stance..One of the first things that came to mind was a female Rob Halford..I also don't like a lot of keyboards in my metal, (and thankfully they don't use em on EVERY tune), but this band might just make me change my mind about these two things..

I always dig female metal vocalists and I also dig nicely played keyboards! That being said, Noora is TEH BEST female vocalist in teh world!! \m/ Their previous vocalist kicked equal amount of ass as well!

there's only one falsetto note in this entire song :P But yea, I get what you mean. Noora is the reason I started liking female vocals in metal. Brittney Slayes and Lzzy Hale are also some extremely great metal singers, though Lzzy sadly sticks more with a pop/rock genre...Halestorm does have some metal tracks tho

Now this is the style I prefer from them, the other 2 videos have a lot more of a mainstream kind of sound but the rest of the album is more decent, I also quite dig the song with Tomi Joutsen from Amorphis
