From Finland comes another FANTASTIC Metal band called "BATTLE BEAST" THIS TIME with the female singer NITTE VALO. (First singer in Battle Beast) What an amazing power she posesses in her voice! Such an awesome chorus that is both heavy and melodic! I was SO surprised about this song, its like Ronnie James Dio from Black Sabbath is singing, but its a woman?????? WOW!
Another GREAT band from "Nuclear Blast Records"! I really hope you enjoyed this one as much as I did! The background choir was amazing!

OK, this was Nitte. First time I heard her. Really powerful, really raspy. Noora can do high, raspy belting as well, but the old singer sounds more natural with it, I think. Great singers, both. Couldn't decide which I like more.

Best of power metal - Mind-blowing. This song has something exceptional, massive torque, great solos and perfect vocals. Nitte has joint lately in Dreamtale. I hope they will publish something new soon. She has seriously great pipes as does Noora. And next recommendation pls check out Tempest of Blades from BB - you will love it! 🤘

@@kah227 You are welcome, pls check out Dreamtale's - The Glory. This song with Nitte came out about half year ago. Can imagine more good stuff coming out at some point - hopefully soon. 🤘🤘🤘

@@hannutamminen Born in Sweden with two Finnish parents, I'm usually aware of Finnish music, but I had completely missed Dreamtale. On the first of December, a friend with Finnish roots and I will go up to Stockholm and see Amorphis. Have to ask a question, is there any finnish website that shows what new finnish music releases are coming. By that I mean all music, not just metal, I understand Finnish so much that I like to listen to Finnish music in Finnish. I did find Glory.

ABBAMAN...wowsahhhhh. the music as far as the keys reminded me of Europe sort of like a cross between them and sabaton I did enjoy this man she sounds like a metal version of Janis Joplin. She was a blues rock singer from the late '60s who died at 27 if you don't know anything about her yes I'm wondering why they changed lead singers if you have her name maybe check her out on wiki. Glad you're feeling better. Hang in there

Oh don't be afraid to put Battle Beast in the search, and also check songs that aren't music videos. For example three of my favorites "Eclipse", "I want the world, and Everything in it" and "Russian Roulette" don't have music videos at all.

Yeah, live Battle Beast, old or new, it kicks ass. Quite as raw and dirty, same song by Noora: Live at Jalometalli 2015 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p6imedaW1MjYfpc.html (better quality) or 31.1.2014, Jalostamo, Hyvinkää, Finland kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r7OKqr2H1dbdiKc.html Nitte was great, but Noora can do exactly the same. Do they always do the song similarly? No, for example Lankafest live video of the same song isn't as raw performance. Amazing luck that they got another vocalist who can sing same style.

Nitte quitted singing for a while, don't know why but I recall for some family issues (maybe she had a baby or something). That's why Battle Beast went for Noora. Nitte sang in band called Burning Point 2014-2019. Don't know if she still does sing in some band.

Edit: Verified as false by the lovely lady Nitte herself. No idea what forum I sourced this from since the info was a long time ago. But alas, thankful she’s still rockin on. 🤟🏽🔥 Yes. She had a child with the nightwish pianist and wanted to focus and enjoy that.

Have you listen or reacted to Liliac? It is a band with five sibblings from the states and the singer has a voice like a mix from Janis Joplin and Dio. They have many fantastic covers but also one album with their own music. Maybe start with the cover of Holy diver from Dio

I usually like Battle Beast, but I have mixed feelings about this song. The melody is not bad and the instrumental parts are nice. As for her singing, I was not too impressed, until I heard the parts when she sings the "opera" part. I do not like the raspy singing (unlike you), because to me it sounds like screaming. Without any doubt, however, she can sing very well.

Maybe you can develop like to screaming as well, because that takes a lot of skill as well. Screaming gives a lot of those wow-vibes for metal audience.

I love her thick raspy singing. It’s powerful, I’ve heard others like it but it doesn’t sound as thick and natural, it sounds too falsetto like. Nitte uses her gut power and that’s really hard to do with the pitch and projection. As for her opera type of part, she can totally do better but you know not all performances will be the same. We’re human.
