Wyper decision is correct, the strawhats are outsiders and might want to get something from their homeland as well as Enel did and Gan Fall. In fact, that is what the strawhats are after, the gold of the shandians! While ignoring them or joinning them gives a better chance to defeat Enel, it gives a worse chance to later fight the Strawhats, because by doing that they would also be helping the Strawhats. It might not seem like, but fighting 2 enemies at the same time, is most times better than fighting them sequentially one after the other. It makes an even better decision, if the 2 enemies are also fighting against each other. So everybody is fighting against 2 enemies, instead of you fighting against 2, and them only against 1. Impact and Reject do to Luffy the same exact effect that an attack would do to a normal person. With Satori it was explained that is a force that comes from the inside, an "impact". So it doesn't matter the material of Luffy body.

There are fake-outs deaths, until there isn't, don't worry this show can still kill don't lose the pressure

Wyper is a zealot. Somewhat justified of course, but way beyond the point where he could be a good leader. I really like his characterization. Badass, but certainly not someone you should ever identify with.

The title cards in this part of the arc literally start like a third of the way into the episode. Genuinely one of the best arcs, but some of the worst pacing at times. :(
