@@roysanchez5020 Ortiz is like Canibus. Makes great mixtapes, cyphers, and feats, but albums are so so. Battle rapping doesn't always translate to good albums. Hence Canibus. Crazy lyrics and punchlines, but meh albums and music. Few battle rappers have put out dope albums. Jadakiss is one, Beanie Sigel is another. Big L, Big Daddy Kane. Fabolous is an honorable mention. Just what I can recall off the dome at the moment.

The beat, the lyrics, the flow, the voice. It’s one of those songs you’re just like “ohhhh shit!! This is fire!” This randomly came up on my Spotify during my run and I was like “yoooo 🤯🤯wtf is this??!!!”. I put it on repeat the rest of the run. It’s one of those perfect songs where you hear the beat and are scared the rapper/singer is gonna ruin it but he did it total justice

Nothing new here. This song is still nuts years after the first time I heard it. Joell remains a lyrical beast who is overlooked. This man is so underrated it's a shame. His bars are so consistent, while your catching what he said, you miss the next slick shit he's about to say. Then you gotta rewind. hahahaha I remember them days. Back when emcees had so many bars you couldn't help but play it over and over to relive the slick talk. #respect to Mr. Ortiz
