In a special Lockdown Lecture for #WaterlooWeek, Time Team's Phil Harding talks us through the battle within a battle that took place at Waterloo, and, according to the Duke of Wellington, turned the tides of the battle in the Allies favour: the Battle for the North Gate at Hougoumont!

‘Oh god aaah!’ (meaning ‘a very vehement Yes’!) - I hope he throws in one of those next time!! My dad (a 69 year old farmer from Somerset) looks and sounds so identical to Phil that it’s uncanny, they must be related. Sunday teatimes watching Time Team with my parents and brothers were the best and Phil was like part of the family. National treasure. So so glad he’s still active and enthusiastic and the knees are going strong!
