Militarily, the commander should observe the battle. Situations can change, so the commander's decision is crucial. In this case, Murad IV was sure that his army would win for numerical superiority, superior training of the Jannisarries and better cannons. So he fought too. Another example of the commander leading the fight When shehzada Beyazid saw that his army was losing. He chose to fight to increase the morale of his troops.

@@believer5578 There are muslim rulers who fought against Muslim also. Example: From Ottoman empire:Beyazid l, Selim l,Suleiman l,Murad lV. From Mughal Empire: Babur,Akbar. (Though Akbar was the follower of Din-e-Ilahi, not Islam.)

So aside from the poor artillery the battle is fought in prehistoric style 😂 just masses of men clashing into each other, no cavalry, no musketeers, no manoeuvres no tactics, no battle plan at all!!! The ancient Egyptians mastered the art of war but thousands of years later the ottomans and the Persians are fighting with cavemen tactics

Actually there are many examples a muslim empire fought against another muslim empire. A perfect example can be said one of Murad lV's ancestors, Selim l, who also fought against two muslim empires. Thus, after Selim winning the battle of Ridanyah 1517, Ottoman Caliphate established. We, muslims, got a tremendous powerful Caliphate.
