Agreed. Clark sisters really become 1 voice. Most of these others, although incredibly talent, you can always tell who’s singing what part.

The Anointed Pace Sisters definitely. I've seen them break out in song just on a fly and all of them fall in and nobody is off. Other groups are always rehearsed. Theirs come natural

I feel with the Pace Sisters, there are so many of them so they automatically know what part they are suppose to sing compared to The Clark Sisters, where they have to switch parts sometimes. Whether they have to rehearse or not, they still sound great.

You're right, they remind me of my mom's choir, because everybody already know their part and can automatically start singing, rehearsed or not. I feel like every group can do that as well at some point.

Denise with her high nasal distinctive voice, dorinda with her raspy jazzy voice, Twinkie with her range growls vocal style and resonance Jackie with her angelic smooth voice, and Karen with her high timbre power and agility

The Clarks really changed the game with their harmonies. I wish they would sing their own harmonies live, they started using extra background singers in recent years. As for the old school groups, the original Ward singers with Marion Williams and Kitty Parham were top notch, it wasn't the same after they left to form the stars of faith. But my favorite old school female group would have to be the gospel harmonettes with Dorothy love Coates. I wish you had included them and some old school male quartets because quartets have the best blend and they sing the instrumental parts.

I think the The Barrett sisters 1. The caravans 2. Clark sisters 3. in my opinion. I don't know anyone that can hit and hold a e6 at 80 (in their chest voice without belting) and can still hit high notes without struggling at 90 (Rodessa Barrett Porter) that's why I like the Barrett sisters more. And their soprano unmatched harmony.

Yeah I see what your coming from with the caravans. Shirley Caesar still sounds the same as she did as a child. Albertina Walker trained them well

@@rickyvlogs5102 Oh for sure man. Albertina Walker also trained the voice of the late James Cleveland, Inez Andrews (No one can sing Mary don't you weep better than Inez not even Aretha), Dorothy Norwood, Cassette George, Delores Washington, Shirley Caesar etc. She is a legend

@@urmom6428 Oh totally she is. The Caravans are a Jazz kinda group(Remind me of a female James Brown group) so idk if they really focus on harmony But they still sound good at their own age. Now the Barrett and Clark sisters are 2 different types of Harmony. The Clark sisters are like a good sister harmony (like pop music) but the Barrett sisters are a good trio Soprano harmony if you aren't really into alot of runs and riffs. The Barrett sisters don't do solo's that much they focus on harmony but they do solos sometimes (abt 3 times an album). Even with Tina Brown the Barrett sisters can harmonize. But the Clark sisters as they aged they couldn't do that perfect harmony from the late 80's and early 2000's. But they still do good singing solo. But nothing like their prime. I still like Dorinda and Twinkie though. She never really changed

It’s The Pace Sisters for me 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯 and The Clark Sisters 🔥🔥 The Barrett Sisters. You cannot get any better harmony than that of sisters!!! 🤷🏿♂️

The Caravans only reason is because these ladies came.from all over and made one of the most popular groups in gospel main stage. Unlike most of the others they all grew in the same time so had all of theirs lives for the blends and harmonies to perfect, who was sing what part and where they sound best and most comfortable with. So yeah Caravans it is just by that but if it was just off sound Barrett Sisters would be my pick

The Clark Sisters, Witness, and Commissioned are my favorites but ALL of the groups in this compilation are amazing and deserve MUCH respect!!!

Most of you aren’t judging actual harmony. Only the group you like the most. Lol. Which isn’t the point of the video. If you’re being TECHNICAL, #Commissioned had the best harmony. They were singing in like 5 parts! Lol. You people are weird...

Commissioned most definitely and the Clark’s. They have more of difficult harmonies. Commissioned especially. I believe they were the only male group to be singing in 4th and 5th harmony at a time. Same with the Clark’s singing 4 part and switching to 3 and vice verse. No disrespect to the others but I love all these groups but those 2 have more of a versatile style harmony wise
