The teams all seem so happy to be there, they also have the greatest sportsmanship I've personally seen in a sport, helping others up and seeing if they are alright and making sure to keep the fun in it

This sport can be great if they expand the battle arena and if teams train together like useing sheid walls, better sword handle and etc ... Looks rough like MMA , this must be world wide sport !!!! But battle arena needs to expand for 30 vs 30 and maybe towers to climb and do crazy shit lol

Het probleem dat veel mensen niet van Rusland kan winnen is omdat het hun werk is dit doen ze parttime als je kijkt op de scoreborden zie je altijd dat rusland er in zit dit jaar had ook Rusland bijna alle catorogien gewonne ze zijn niet normaal sterk is wel jammer voor de andere

It'd be nice if we had subtitles for the interviews or if each team had an english speaker or a translator would translate as they interview fighters from non-english speaking teams.

lou androctonus The problem with that is that 21 vs 21 is the largest the marshals say they can handle. Anything beyond that gets too chaotic.

+lou androctonus too hard to keep track of the all the micro battles going on........unless you put shock collars on the guys(a rule if they get a shock they are forced to stop/go to the ground).....a few camera drones above and 100's of referees on the side to notice any serious bashings

I SHAAAAALL BRAIIIIIN THEEE!! Basically just thumping each other in the head until they give up. Everyone should just carry big clubs it’s the only effective weapon in this sport. I think this activity has experienced the peak of its evolution.

Starting at 1:01:36 are the best three fights I have ever seen. And at 1:17:25 is one of the toughest guys ever. Also 1:50:40 was just brutal.

Игорь Баштин Вообще-то русский это собирательное название восточно-европейских славян. Белорусы, россияне, украинцы это все русские народности. Сейчас их искусственно разделяют, но разницы между нами очень мало.

sparring ground is too small for any real tactics, except - stand ground, smash halberds really hard. the ground is ideal for....russian tactics - stand ground, smash, smash

Not bad, but I was expecting something else...something better Things they got right: Costumes, weapons, armors and the visual aspect of it, quite impressive...also the level of intensity, with hard blows being delivered, looks pretty straight forward too! Things they got wrong: The rules, or the "rule", because it seems as the only thing that matters is making your oponent trip... Theres no point on how good you are with your sword...if your oponent is a 120kg fat bloke you are going down.. I can see a point system wouldnt work, whos gonna keep the track of who- hit-where&when?? specially with 40 people out there... What about certain areas of the arena (wich should be bigger IMO as well) are marked with colored circles, stay in there for a period of time earn a certain amount of points... What about some kind of capture the flag, or defend the king or whatever,, but this nonsensse... What I see here is just a bunch of properly dressed medieval knights fighting like drunk british teenagers, and it aint pretty... Weapon skills, medieval warfar, battle tactics?? mehh forget about that, just bring your national mma\jiujitsu\wrestling\judo team...dress them as medieval as you can,, boom job done... Sorry, brillian concept, ruined by poor rules dooming the whole event in advance...

+Rico Cori considering that they can't use proper battle technique because of the nature as a SPORT, this is what it ends up as. when using heavy armor, and/or fighting against heavy armor, mindlessly hacking with your sword would be futile, and that's why things such as half-swording were used; to stab exposed areas. weapons like warhammers and pole/pollaxes were usually also widely used instead of swords when using heavy armor, but they can't effectively use those here because of the no stabby-stabby rule.
