An Atago is a Heavy Cruiser that was built to protect Japanese Carriers and destroy US Carriers it has Good Anti-Aircraft Guns to take planes down just like the Brooklyn's Air Defence and it can go against most ships if you know how to use it and up grade it maxed but still like Des Moines you still have limited life.

This Atago is the fastest battle cruiser I love that it’s fast but never included moyoko class heavy cruiser but it’s still the very best ship to take down all sorts of ships so it could be a multi role to rather what you do with the ship. :]

Have used it, I find it to be a magnet for enemy fire. When I use it, it is not a potent as when an AI uses one of have many on their side. Suspect that is because switching between weapon systems takes me longer. Find I have about as much or more success with the Admiral Hipper. Would say both are the submarine Google reviewers request of the game, bacause of the many torpedoes.

why its not lag on your gameplay mine is kinda lag the ammo of my cannon move not so fast

This gsme is not "kinda lag", it just plan has too much going on for any processor (Android) to keep up. I'm using a Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 tabet with a 2.2GHz processor & it does not appear to perform on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 any better. By the way I'm well into the game: over 300hrs; above 5,000 on the leaderboads; and 85% of the fleet. Lag shows up whenever I use a powerful ship or the lack of touchscreen response during the height of battle because of all the action.

Make that 5.0km. The battles are more like a cock fight (you know of the chicken variety). Though the ships only have a 3km torpedo range. But the aircraft carrier can launch torpedoe and bomb laden aircraft to any point on the battle area.
