Engaging and fun… my next bike will be either a Ribble or a Handsling cos your vlog comp appears to be Danni Shrosebury - I’ll know by the end of the year..and so good to hear someone breathing hard and so good to see Amira in first ( she’s from Yorkshire - just saying)

Well done Maddy on getting on the podium in a challenging race. The video of the race at different stages was fascinating to watch. In those conditions I would have thought that straight bars would have an advantage over dropped. And riding in sand must be good training for the legs as well as good practice for off road and muddy conditions. Good luck in the next race and hope you don’t mind a newbie (at 71yo) to gravel bikes subscribing to your channel 😊🚴‍♂️

Excellent vlog! Check out the "voice activation" option on your GoPro for long race control. Impressive 183 average BPM - I remember peaking at 185 in a circuit race a few years ago before I reminded myself that I should ease off a bit and act my age - 58 at the time. Good luck with the rest of the year.
