My 8 years of study shows that shredded tire sports fields break down to micro tire particles which are inhaled by players. The micro tyre dust and fake grass dust gets into lungs and then to bloodstream and then to all organs setting players up for cancer as they age. Children are more likely to get ill as their fragile lungs are still developing. The water table under all shredded tyre storage sites used as sports fields is also contaminated and harmful to biodiversity. It is obvious that no child should be exposed to the hundreds of tons per pitch of perishing shredded tires. Please keep children away from shredded tyre storage sites used as play surfaces.
