One of my favorite things to do with Invasion of Alara is use Chandra, Hope's Beacon to finish off the previously damaged battle and get a double-spell off the sorcery, sometimes destroying two of the opponent's lands with it 😈

It's refreshing to see you play against mono blue and see that they don't always have the counterspell they need, unlike what my personal experiences would lead me to believe.

Game 2! I rarely shout out loud when I'm invested in a game, but that was one for the books. Other people in my house asked me what was going on. Amazing game!! 💯

This was the first deck I built when Battles were introduced. It's possible to ladder with it, but I had to invest in things like Pyrulea and Ergamon to smooth the draws and mana. I also tossed in 1 copy of All Will Be One for giggles. Tons of fun, and often wins because opponents have no idea what I'm up to. Thanks so much for the incredible content, as always!

The timing of this is incredible as I was literally piecing together storm and alara in my head today, and i already have a battle/render inert pile I've been working on. The regent is a banger I hadn't considered. Awesome!

Sometimes its fun to put dumb decks like this together. When they go off, it's a thing of beauty. But there are so many times they are just a mess, but we love them anyways. My dumb deck idea was a bunch dumb ramp into a massive Awaken The Woods with a Graaz on the next turn if everything managed to live... they usually didn't. But when they did, such joy. You can feel the "WTF!?" energy through Arena client sometimes.

My version of this one plays Manaform Hellkite instead of Moonveil, and the full Rampaging Raptor pack. No Storms, but an Ayara and a couple Underdogs for more Battle targeting

The poison deck could have won if thay managed to top deck an instant target creature spell. They resigned too early.

Djinn single handedly ruined this entire format. People want to complain about grixis but I’ve seen nothing but djinn for months and I’m sick of it. I Hate counters, waste of my time. It’s not even outplaying me, it’s just straight unplugging my controller and gloating you got a flawless. Yeah if your opponent isn’t allowed to do anything I’m sure you’ll win.

Cool idea. Completely non-functional against mono-red, which seems to be about 75% of all matches. I need to stop trying out standard. Never worth it.
