@@starzsparkz I have been writting some stories for something i am making and one of them is about an entity that is rensponsible for Dreams and Nightmares, every single dream is created by the entity based on what the person is thinking, so the entity knows more or less what every single human thinks or experienced, because of that it values children much more then adults as children have innocent and beautiful dreams worth creating while adults tend to have dreams showing off greed, lust or any kind of sin the entity notices that one girl in particular that used to dream about being a princess and had a lovely "world" in her mind now only has horrible nightmares that would make even adults wet their beds, the entity manifests itself to see what is going on and it has a horrible vision, the girl that is only 12 years old is tied to a chair being slowly tortured by a man in black robes and in front her alongside the man, her dad is lying on the floor cuffed, the man in black robes is constantly saying "Tell me where it is or ill continue" but the dad does not say a single word the poor girl is left to be slowly killed while feeling betrayed by her dad that according to the words of the man in black robes could have stopped the whole situation if only he said where "it" is the entity then feels rage an emotion it was not previously capeable off and manifests itself protecting the child and sending the man in dark robes away, it is too late to save the kid that dies sitted on the chair, the entity realizes and just feels immense sadness and rage against adult humans i know it is very brutal but it caused me a lot of thoughts while i was writing it and overall i think it turned out well.

the creature is suppost to be a villain for an RPG story im creating but i want the players to learn its story and that is not an actual monster but just an entity trying to protect a child

that's a lot to go off of, I'll see if I can come up with something right now as i'm intrigued
