No wonder this trip is on the first place, they thought about it really well. They show a lot of new things i never expect too find in Vietnam, now i want to visit Vietnam

Hoi An is in my opinion the prettiest little town in the world. The scenery, the air, the people, and the food were totally amazing. The ancient city was breathtaking by day, but it really came to life by night when the streets were lit up with beautiful and colorful lanterns. It was a quiet spectacular and unforgettable sight to see in person.

that's the highest score for a halfway vote I can remember for this show. Danang looks like it has a lot to offer. I especially like the Ba Na Hill tourist spot.

I'm amazed by their knowledge and interest in Danang :x I was born and raised here for 16 years before moving away to another country and I feel ashamed for not knowing so many wonderful things it has to offer. Must come back home and do a proper visit next time, I miss it so much. Feel very proud of my hometown watching this. Thank you for such a lovely trip :)

This trip deserves 99 votes. I'm Vietnamese but studying abroad and didn't have chance to visit Danang when I was in Vietnam. Have to go there someday ^^ 1 more thing, this is the 3rd team that went to VN, right? All of them were the winner of the episode =)))

I'm honestly surprised that they didn't try Mi Quang while they were in Da Nang. It's a MUST TRY whenever you come to Da Nang - Hoi An. The noodle is flat and so soft it will melt in your mouth and it's specially made to eat with sauce but it feels like eating noodle with very little soup. Quite an interesting experience. :D

Regarding how much they know about little details about the culture and history there, I'm sure it's not that they didn't know but probably there were too many to fit in one episode, so the dish was not in the plan in the first place. Consider my first comment as a recommendation to those who don't know. How about that?

Everyone who plans to travel to Da Nang, Hoi An DEPART NOW!!! Hoi An is where I grew up and it's absolutely marvelous. I can guarantee that you will have a great time there.

I was in Vietnam to visit cousins and aunts and we left to phi quoc and it was a beautiful place recommend to go to and I was in a hotel that was haunted but it was fun😂😂😂

It's not cow dun covering outside the basket boats. Each basket boat got lacquered and painted for water resistance! Banh' Mi- is made from wheat or all purpose flour yeast, etc.

Việt mình tuy k giàu hay phát triển bằng nước ngoài nhưng có nhiều nét đẹp hiếm có:)) Cố mà giữ chứ đừng vn suốt ngày thực phẩm k an toan rồi đánh nhau này nọ:)) Chung sức mà thực hiện chứ đừng người nào cũng z rồi đùn đẩy trách nhiệm đợi người kia làm rồi mới bắt chước Chủ tịch lãnh đạo k làm được thì dân làm

The direct translation of "Banh Mi" is wheat cake. I think it means the bread is made out of wheat flour not rice flour.

54:31 They said that mi = rice. Mi = wheat. In Vietnam, the baguettes do contain rice flour, but they are mostly wheat.

OMG I have been to the first restaurant they were at, I was in Vietnam to visit my family family I didn’t get to drink the coffee though People should visit Vietnam more often it a really beautiful place My grandparents live there and my mom sends them money every year They have this really huge house, it’s three floors and each floor has a balcony around it, and the top is flat so you can go on top it The house is also near the sea so you could see everything The house was build because my grandparents payed for it(duh) But only the bottom floor had air conditioning ( i think)

You should go to InterContinental Danang Resort in Danang. It ranks one of the top resorts in the world. In fact, it's one of the best.

Not a fanJung Sia. Almost didn't watch this episode bcoz of her. But I love Oh HyeonGyeong. She cute, pretty, funny & always enjoy watching her. Would love to see Oh HyeonGyeong in more variety shows on KBS World but without Jung Sia.

The term 'banh mi' itself means bread. "Mi' does not mean rice in the term 'banh mi'. Rice in Vietnamese is 'com'

You are right, but bread is made of bột mì, or also known as bột lúa, which can be translated as 'grain'. The term 'mi' comes from the Chinese word '米' (pronounced as: mi). The Vietnamese language is influenced by Chinese language (Hán ngữ), so we have a lot Chinese loan words and one of them is the word Mi. Since the Korean language is influenced by Chinese as well, they can recognise many words.

ok ay You're wrong. "Mì" is "wheat". So "Banh Mi" is "bread wheat" litterally. Banh Mi is a culinary heritage from colonial French time it has nothing to do with Chinese word as you explained.

@@ian-nator2685 My knowledge of Chinese is nul. So I have no idea. "mì" in Vietnamese language is "wheat" in English in this context. But "mì" also means "vermicelli". We have popular Chinese dishes in Vietnam like "Mì Hoành Thánh" (Wonton Soup), "Hủ Tiếu Mì" (Hu Tieu Soup), "Mì Xào" (Sauted Vermicelli) etc..."

Similar to the traditional food issue of Chinese cuisine, which uses lots of fats and oils (oily Chinese fried noodles Chow Mein, fatty Beijing duck, and greasy orange chicken are some examples), the biggest problem with Thai cuisine is that it uses too much canned coconut milk. This can lead to many health issues, such as weight gain, high cholesterol, heart diseases, and strokes due to abundant sugar and saturated fat in canned coconut milk. Eating Thai food is like being on a diet of sugar and fat. By contrast, Vietnamese cuisine uses fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables and herbs, and lean cooking techniques that utilize water or broth instead of oils or canned coconut milk. This explained why The Lancet-one of the world's oldest and best known general medical journals, reports, "Vietnam as one of the few countries that has so far escaped the tide of obesity. Less than one per cent of the population of Vietnam is considered obese, unlike in nearby countries such as Thailand, China and Indonesia. . . certainly the more traditional diet in Vietnam is protective against obesity compared to high-density fast food." There you have it. Lean, healthy, and delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine is now backed by science. "You don't have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces- just good food from fresh ingredients." (Julia Child) ― it sounds a lot like Vietnamese cuisine to me.

Tim Black That said, it would be a mistake not to mention the huge wave of bubble tea and fast food emerging in Vietnam for the recent years. Nowadays a huge number of young people consume to at least 3-5 cups of bubble tea each day, and the calorie contained is just incredible. It’s funny how the traditional food here is widely vegetable-based and people are just viewing all the fast food chains as luxurious. Back when McDonalds just opened near my home, people were just lining for the food each and everyday lol. The American culture is emerging so fast lmfaoooooo

Remember fast food like McDonalds is not cheap in Vietnam. Some young Vietnamese people said they could eat at fast food restaurants like McDonalds or KFC only once a week. Not all Vietnamese people can afford it every day. This solidified the fact that traditional Vietnamese cuisine still plays an important role in the daily diet of the Vietnamese.

If you’re on a budget and is looking for a beautiful place to go, Vietnam is definitely the place. Food is cheap, other costs are also really cheap if you are cautious and avoid being scammed. Make sure to do a lot of research.

Vinh Bảo Staged how? I mean the audience can see for themselves the sceneries and the journey that these two went through. The resort is beautiful, the food looks good, and Bà Nà Hills I’ve heard of before. There’s even a recent commercial of it that Hoài Linh made.

Vinh Bảo Each nationality likes a particular place in VIetnam. You can't say it's staged or gullible. Russians like Nha Trang. Thai people like Dalat, Sapa and Bana Hills where they can experience the fog and wear warm clothes. Koreans like Danang for foods and drink, Hoi An, scenery, resort, Bana Hills and beaches. Most of Westerners like to explore the whole Vietnam.
