Which sucks, because...I'm on Chapter 4 right now and my highest level is 30 something, and on the PS2 version, I made it up to the 2000s on my Adell alone before I gave up. T__T I salute you and your endurance!

Man, this Disgaea looks nice. Some effects are even better than they are on Disgaea 3. Also, this Big Bang is much cooler. I wish I had a PSP...

Wow, this looks like it could be fun! I'm a big fan of Final Fantasy tactics, so this looks right up my alley! Can't believe I never knew about this before... I only came here after reading (on gameinformer) that this game will be on the PSN very soon. One question, though, do all of the games form a collective story arc? Or is it a separate story with each installment (like the Tales series, Dragon Quest, or Final Fantasy)?

@jerq887 yep, just like you can if you get Adell as DLC in Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 3 Return will most likely have all 4 Disgaea protagonists.

You have a star mage named Marisa, that joins up with a demon named Kirisame. That is just so cool

For all those asking no you do not need to play Disgaea 1 to understand 2. However there are references and cameos that are a lot funnier if you play the previous games.

@wild3yes You need to unlock Land of Carnage. It took me quite a few days to unlock it, but it's totally worth it!

the psp version of disgaea 2's cover said magichange could be used in this, but the instruction manual didn't give me jack squat about how to use it, so how do I use magichange in disgaea 2?

simple question to getting this. Now I know you need to beat axel mode, but I have 2 files one being the axel mode and one being adell do I have to beat axel to get magichange and the disgaea 3 characters in the adell mode? Please help I could really use it man.

hell yea i beat him with level 2000 guys so dont give up you dont have to match his level to beat him,plus the robo kurtis is extremely weak surprisingly......just remember to reincarnate guys that might if your guys are level 2000,oh and dont let him magicchange with the gut next to him(blond kurtis)so his stats dont go to high,thats all you need ,except for the obvious leveling items

Characters past 5000? Wow... But why the hell would you need them? ô_ó I mean, it's possible to win by taking out all the robots one by one and then just zetta-beeeaaam (lvl 2700) the crap outta Mao. If you don't go near him, he won't even move or counterattack you.

nice, I already knew about the cheat, but I just don't feel right using it when I've gotten so far, my highest level dude is now 70, with the one of the most kick ass swords in the game, yet SOMEHOW I still can't beat a certain fight in the final chapter
