Bro this new school “musicality“ is just beatkilling, thats one of the easiest forms of musicality because you sacrifice your Flow just to Hit certain patterns in the music. Old School on the other hand focuses on not hitting but dancing to different patterns in the Music while keeping up with the Rhythm of the Song without constantly interrupting your Flow. That what Hip Hop really is, Hisoka in terms of pure hip Hop and musicality Beats rubix.

On sait très bien que les twins jugent sur la musicalité, et jsp si vous vous rendez compte des détails de la musique que rubix fait ressortir en dansant, en plus son style est plus varié (passage au sol, aérien etc) et plus ample...ya même pas moyen de me dire que les premiers rounds sont pas objectifs

@@slowedmichiko je trouve qu'en face y avait du répondant. Les deux se valaient sur la plupart des round. Et je trouve cette compétition assez bien jugé de façon général. Mais comme pour d'autres disciplines, on devrait mettre des juges qui n'ont aucune affinité ou lien avec les danseurs. Le fait que les Twins soient proches de Rubix peut nous faire douter de leur objectivité. Ça n'est que mon avis

Just because they have flashy concepts and moves, that doesnt mean that its hip Hop. They Are lethal in all Styles competitions, but hip Hop? Nah.

@@Kaito2.2 I understand we’re you’re coming from but, just because they believe there aren’t any basics to HipHop doesn’t mean they don’t have them down or can’t do the basics “real” hip hop heads look for at the same level or higher than most strictly hiphop dancers. Hiphop is constantly evolving and they are with it that’s why they’re still relevant and you may call their moves flashy but it’s simply musicality and interpreting the beat their way and not going according to the fundamentals just so people know it’s hiphop. I believe that it’s hip hop cause, hip hop is everything beats made from samples of songs from different genres, unconventional instruments, and evolution of who can/is expected to express themselves through it. They’re a perfect representation of the genre and the culture strictly from a dance/style standpoint.

And also there’s a huge difference between evolving a dancestyle, and completely disregarding the very fundamental traits of the said Dancestyle. The Twins are far from being the perfect representation of what Hip Hop is, check out Henry Link, Buddha Stretch etc.

They're going with what they value in dance, thats really what all judges do. There is no set list of criteria for judging a hip hop battle. Everyone interprets music differently.
