son of wyachi is somehow untouchable... he is protected from all sides and has the most violent punch of all. I always find the flamethrowers totally pointless, what should they bring against such metal monsters :D

Bots aren't hermetically sealed. Fire burns wiring, drive belts, hydraulic and pneumatic hoses, lubricants, can overheat batteries and motors. It's situational but can be very damaging if you manage to really stick that fire nozzle into some bot's face and hold there for a bit.

The oota knockout from Endgame on Tombstone was like the equivalent of Dantomkia beating Chaos 2 from RW.

Not really. Chaos 2 was a very dated design having only about 5 or 6 flips before it lost gas pressure and didn't even meet the weight limit if i remember. I would say its more like when Terrahurtz stopped Panic Attack.

Shame they no longer allow knock outs out of the arena no more, it makes it less exciting imo and harder for flipper bots especially to win since their main way of winning was to flip bots out of the arena, which to me was one of the best ways to get a knockout :/

@@ConstantlyDamaged yes.. but also great shocking moments that are better than two big powered bots with one big impact and then both weapons dead they just keep on shoving each other for the rest of the time

@@Soinetwa Well, yes, but that's reliability issues, and while Battle Bots tend to cut rookies some slack with bots that repeatedly can't go the distance, you'll note that there are less and less of such. They are all about making good, long, exciting matches. Hell, one reason Skorpios repeatedly gets high billing is its reputation as being one of the hardest bots in the competition to take down.
