Show Synopsis: With all the thrills and edge-of-your-seat tension of a major sporting tournament, combined with the latest in robot engineering and larger-than-life inventors, BattleBots has viewers of all ages gripped.
In pairs, bot inventors go head-to-head inside the perilous and bullet-proof BattleBot arena, with the aim of destroying or completely disabling their opponent’s machine.
During each episode, we meet the creators behind these awesome machines. From amateurs and super-smart technology students to seasoned professionals who have dedicated their lives to creating the ultimate fighting robot, find out what drives these charismatic inventors, and how they turn their visions into supreme battling robots.

well every contender knows what goes into building and repairing those bots from first hand experience and I think they all at least respect each other's work enough to not pull something like that

@@megapro125 Unfortunately so many just give into the cheap pop of the crowd when your ripper shreads into a bot that is clearly disabled. Fun in the moment for you but completely gutting for the team to see their hard work destroyed. If the bot is still attempting to fight then keep going otherwise just let them get counted out.

Props to rotator, they basically tied with Endgame, while every other team got basically no-diff by Endgame. Tantrum also had a solid shot at victory if the weapon motor didn't burn.

In 3 of the last 5 seasons - Rotator has been knocked out by the eventual champion S3 - Bite Force S5 - End Game S6 - Tantrum With a loss to semi finalist copperhead in the most recent season

End Game is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, no ranged attacking whatsoever, making it look like an easy target, but it’s got a heavy spinner, and skill from the drivers, combined it’s able to do some absolutely insane damage, props the the End Game team.

End game actually has very limited reach with its weapon compared to other bots, but once it does make contact - parts start flying ^^

The reason why endgame able to be the top bot: 1) The rules changed at the season 3, which stated aggression and damage can be achieved by ramming opponents instead of the need of active weapon. Original purpose was to 'nerf' horizontal spinner and favor control bots. But this rule give verts a huge advantage since they can ram opponent using wedge even while weapon stop. While horizontal are bad at pushing competition. 2) The flexibility of switching wedges and forks are reason endgame is unstoppable because it have longer forks which can always get under opponent before other did, and switch to wedge when deal with horizontal spinner. 3) maximum spinner speed is 250mph. This will reduce the damage power but verts aren't affected because their job is send opponent flying.

If verts had such an unbeatable advantage then the last WC final would have been between two traditional verts... except it wasn't. It was between bots that beat traditional verts. Now the natural evolution would be that bots that beat verts become more common until verts are less effective. Then bots that beat the bots that beat verts become the option of choice to win. Then verts come back to beat those bots and so forth. Verts are good right now because verts are effective in general. Bots in general have become more refined since Season 2. I think this is a good thing.

If I was the driver of Shatter, I would have taken the loss earlier and not antagonized the opponent into further dismatling my very expensive bot. After both the drive system and the weapon we're ruined, it was pretty clear there was nothing that bot could do. Why keep flailing about?
