I think the saddest death was Bishops, he fought so that kid could get away, but it's very unlikely he survived the war, given how many Australians died at Gallipoli

The campaing was amazing, when the Australian died I had a couple of tears rolling down my cheek. They really did justice to people who fought for their countries, even the enemies. They were fighting for their own causes, and were not evil, just soliders.

For all you fans of Bishop's war story, here's something interesting. Each time you arrive at his final battle location I think it was, he has a few different sayings.

I feel bad for the old NCO that dies in the tank. Especially the sound that he made when he got hit was sad and disturbing. Poor lad.

i wish the bf1 campaigne was all one big story,

Battlefield 1 really depicts the horrors and heroism of real war AND gives the respect to those who fought in WW1.

The Runner and Aventio Savoia (probably spelled that wrong) are a few of the saddest moments of games i've ever experienced, thanks for showing me the true side of war, instead of glorifying it.

Storm of Steel is arguably the best story mission in he game. It shows each and every perspective of the soldiers you play as, giving the Great War a much deeper meaning than just death and suffering.

This game is so much better than COD or any other game related to war, war isn't a fun thing, with rocket launchers and jet packs, and your best mates with ya till the end, war is a terrible thing, it's emotional, you don't know if you'll live to the next day, and sometimes, people have to die for the greater good, just so someone can live to see the sunrise one last time. The saddest part is that the stories told aren't of the great sacrifices, but instead of the people who lived to see their family. Justice is not and can't ever be done to them.
