For those who want the stats (Defensive vs Factory) The Hellriegel 1915 Defensive has: 30% more upwards kick 20% more kick to the left 20% more kick to the right 100% more bullets

Hey brokenmachine, thanks for existing. Your tips have totally improved my gameplay. Less sprinting, no chasing, move from cover to cover, and when you see an enemy don't shoot first, look around first. You rock man thanks.

Carlos -Alv- the best way I did is I had smoke greands and just ran behind them and waited for the horse to attack me I already have 3 service starts with the heriegel defensive

I have all the other guns unlocked, and I have the 300 hellriegel kills, but those damn AT mine kills... I've been trying since patch release and have 2..

You mentioned in your stream that spotting doesnt work all the time. Thats because there is a spotting timer. If you hit the spot button and dont spot anyone a timer kicks in. This is to prevent spot spamming. Now if you acutallty spot someone you can continue spotting no problem and no timer activates. Try it out.

Hey machine, I've found that if you pop a few shots off at a long range target, you can then spot them. I don't know if the range sensitive spotting (based on weapon type, is what I can guess at) is a intended mechanic, or a bug, but I've found that fixes it with SMG's at long range.

this can be done together. you don't have to get hellriegal kills first. I assume the other level 10 variants are like that.

Great gameplay, as always! Love watching your videos! Personally, I would rather play with a Medic weapon on these big maps & keep the Hellriegel for Fort de Faux. I'm only Assault class 3 now, so must still deal with the Automatico Storm climbing up in the air. Really hard to keep its nose down, but I'm getting a bit better at it.

I wish they add a realistic mode or hardcore mode to bf1 only one person in each squad could have a machine gun and you had to join a squad unless they were all full and make it so you don't regenerate and the hud is always disabled

When i first unlocked this gun i thought it was going to be exactly like the regular hellriegal but with an optical sight, boy was i wrong. I dont like this gun at all, they need to decrease the hop if it has an optical sight but then again, it has a bi-pod and it is for defensive plays so i guess i was trying to use it as offense like you are in this video but im not skilled enough to use this gun for the opposite of its purpose. There are other guns i prefer to use for defense anyways.

Hey BM you seem to do cheeky reloads a lot with the Hellreigel Defensive. Perhaps as you get better with the weapon you'll keep those to a minimum as you just have so many more bullets then the Factory.

sometimes it's due to being out in the open and going to flags solo, those extra bullets could help

Understandable, but I know from my time using the Support Suppressive variants (not exactly killing machines I know) that compulsively reloading after every kill creates openings for an enemy to surprise and kill you. Good situational awareness definitely mitigates this, but if I had a dime for every time a guy with a Hellriegel ran around a corner while I was reloading...
