During playing this game: i had 2 broke ups, i got a driver licence, i was in army, i graduate, i got my first job. I kept playing this game no matter what happened. Life changes i hope 2042 can give us great memories.

Since this game was released, I had two children, changed career path, moved house and still came back to this. Definitely a special game and one that set the benchmark for atmosphere, pace, emotion (campaign), scale etc. Cheers for all of the BF1 vids Broken. My FPS First Love - I was drawn in by the atmosphere, ties to history / geography, and “only in BF moments”. This game also brought me to chill with TBM daily as I was a pure Noob and wanted to improve. Oh the influence it had! One of the best for certain! Also the SMG08 is bae.

I remember when I first picked up this game I was sooo bad, constantly wondering where the enemies were. Towards the end of the apocalypse dlc I was always on the top of the leader board. This was such a rewarding game to grind and I honestly think there will never be another game that captures the chaos of war like this did. So long bf1 ❤

Best egoshooter ive ever played. Most intense moments, awesome game mechanics/graphics for that time, insane attention to details. And beside that the most fun moments where i made some friends.

Bf1 was my first BF experience. The scale was absolutely overwhelming, running around as a brand spanking newb but after making friends and getting a squad together, it rivaled Destiny in absolute love for a game.

BF1 was the first Battlefield game I got into. When 5 came out I just couldn't get into it so still played BF1 throughout. The game Is special and was very well made.

To me this is always gonna be the best Battlefield game. It still plays very well even when it doesn't play well. Hope DICE makes a sequel to this for the next Battlefield. Or even just add more updated maps.

BF4 was my favorite Battlefield game for a while but after i got the highest KD in my FPS life in BF1 it became the best one for me

my first competitive fps game that kept me playing for a while

It's difficult to put into words how much of an impact BF1 had on me, but it was the first game I was sleepless with excitement over during the run up to its release. I even asked if we could analyse the reveal trailer in our history class as we were learning about WW1 warfare at the time. My world has changes a lot in the last 5 years, and the world as a whole is entirely different, but this game and the memories it created will always be preserved.

When I reached level 99 on xbox, i converted over to PS. Had to have my BF1 fix, so I reached level 76 there. I've greatly enjoyed the beauty of this way- of-life, I mean game

I think its only once you come back to BF1 after playing BF5 and other shooters that you can really appreciate the carnage and sense of adventure it brings. Just wish there were more servers in Australia especially for operations.

The day they close the BF1 servers is the day I stop playing games. Since it came out Ive never played anything else, I love history and being able to use historical guns and run around on historical maps. The pure chaos and massive flanks you can pull off in this game are unbeatable. "Fire in the hole fellas"

So I'm thinking a few weeks post launch most of us will be back enjoying BF1 and shaking our heads at Battlefield-Apex Legends 2042 wondering why we wasted the money

Battlefield 2042 is so soon but sadly I can't afford nor can my pc even run it smoothly

It was the best as far as BF is concerned.

After playing the 2042 beta, and after almost six years, it’s insane to me how much better BF1 is compared to 2042. This game literally had everything that drew in audiences to the battlefield franchise. Literally all the features that mad BF stand out when compared to COD and other super sweaty unrealistic movement shooters. Such a shame that the developers literally just made 2042 more like COD to please the pansies out there. The in-depth gun mechanics, visuals, and overall atmosphere of BF1 will never be matched in this era of rainbow skins and milking micro transactions.
