Frontlines should be a permanent gamemode alongside conquest, breakthrough, and rush. It feels like a classic Battlefield gamemode, it just works.

Frontlines was pretty much the only mode I played in BF1 and BFV. Very happy that they're bringing it back, though only 4 maps is a bit underwhelming.

This would be a lot more exciting if you didn't prematurely announce support being dropped. We still have a whole other event after this one and the stadium map along with the new vehicle still to drop and the LMG. Most people aren't even going to realize the game is still getting these updates, they'll think the game is completely done already and we'll be left with bots.

Anyone find that since battlefield premium stopped the game content dropped too? Less maps, less destruction, less… battlefield. It’s sad and really unsure if I want to buy into anymore. I love battlefield but it seems the only good features added lately was the slide and sprint running.. even the diving was removed. It’s a strange move.

@@shirokuro1720 explain how? People who did not purchase the premium got what they paid for. People who bought the premium were able to explore and enjoy map packs, which is what was paid for. Free content doesn’t produce further content with no income.. you cannot run a business with no income and need income to pay people to produce content. I think the previous model with premium is good IF we get what was previously on show.

BF1 Frontlines was the thing the made me fall in love with the game even more. Before they nerfed it with a time limit, games was going on until one team had destroyed both M-coms. I was part of a game that lastet almost 4 hours. Everybody was just glad when it was done but sooo mutch respect was shared for that game since it was always so thight! :)

I believe Rapid Strike mode and this one is a preperation for a new Battlefield game. They give us what we want but for a little time, kind of an open beta for feedback. to me its all about gamemodes at this time. Things wont be changed much gameplay wise unfortunately (Like a Lis nerf). So its about good gamemodes on the better maps of the game. Rush infantry, Frontlines, control are good ones!

Glad to see this game coming to an end! I love DICE and the employees, but come on: no story mode, no physical collector's edition, giving up the roadmap of 1 map + 1 specialist each season (we never ask for this but you give it after 1 year)... We wanted just a BF3 with the gunplay of BF1: why sending this instead?

Wow, it took us only 2.5 years to receive a playable game for a price of AAA title and now we're getting closer to the amount of game modes that were presented in previous games of the series (at least getting closer to the level of BF1 and V on release, and these games weren't famous for being received by community as thriving and content-rich ones, mind you) Waiting for the return of Operations mode! I especially enjoy the way it was done in BF1, not BF V. The game in general has really got nice fixes and quality of life updates during its lifetime and now is a truly nice experience. And it feels like genuine (more BF3/4 like) Battlefield most of the time. This game might be much more popular (and yes, there is still an issue with servers full of bots without anyone joining at several times). The only thing DICE and EA needs to do is to get rid of the greed. To provide players with adequate monetization system and respectful attitude towards community and its money. To listen to their old player base. To those who have been playing BC2/3/4/1/V for hundreds and thousands of hours. Let me as an old Battlefield fan give you some money, give me this opportunity. Let me buy a freaking game expansion with normal amount of well technically done content. I don't want to buy skins, why would I need them in such game at all? Nobody gets to even noticing them in the game. I mean, you guys have such cosmetics category as charms, but it literally is not displayed anywhere, even I don't see it during the gameplay for the most of the time, other players can't see it at all. Why would I spend money on that? I need new maps with new different shooter gameplay variations, updates with interesting, unusual and BALANCED weapons. I need some challenges or assingments we've had in BF3/4/1. I don't need absolutely blend and useless premium battlepass which after completion lets me receive some garbage skins, a little bit of XP boosters and a special red pin for very special kids. And I don't need battle royale in Battlefield either, lol. I need content, not imitation. And I am ready to pay for it. And yes, I get it, everybody gets it. EA wants everybody to be paying for their subscription, ideally if anually. And then they'll add battlepass to every game they'll be making. So they want you to pay every season for premium battle pass on top of your EA play subscription. So you would be paying basically for thin air and your battlepass of choice. We get it, EA, it's a really nice business strategy from your point of view, but it's a burglary from your customer's. EA's gonna die this way and unfortunately it's gonna kill our favourite game franchises all together.
