They moved the main spawns in closer to reduce travel time, moved some flags closer and removed a couple of cranes whilst adding more ground cover to make it more compact and slightly more intense at CQC

Happy to get some meaningful updates to performance and game mechanics. Publisher pressure is why these AAA games get released in terrible states.

I recently managed to convince some of my friends to squad up and join me in 2042. It has been a blast and I see them play on their own volition and ranking up. I've been playing since launch and it gives me great joy to slowly see 2042 shaping up better and better with each season. Cannot wait to jump in after work today!

The game is actually in a state that would have been acceptable at launch. All of the maps feel like they have been playtested and the new weapons and specialists all feel good.

I bought 2042 because you have been covering its improvement. It's got rough patches, like load screen bugs, but it's the best time I've had with a shooter in a long time.

If anyone still hates the game, its just for the sake of hating. The game is amazing now with all the updates and new/ reworked content. Cheers for your videos Jack!

I am still not ready to be a beta-tester and pay for a full price game for it. Dice should have made gametests for it and fix the bugs before launch. If they made this for a year, i think the game would had a good launch.

I can't belive that i'm writing this but BF 2042 is becoming a good Battlefield game and a Great FPS and i'm actually glad because the BF franchise deserves way more love! Okay....the DEV team made their mistakes but now they are fixing them and i really do hope that BF 2042 will come back to life. And of course THX for the video jack keep up the good work!

Over the past few weeks, I've been having a lot of fun with BF. I had to set Warzone to the side for now, as I'm just not enjoying it and finding myself getting more frustrated with each passing game, and this is now a great FPS to fill my shooter needs. It's much more fun and action packed.

Honestly, I'm really happy I've stuck with this game. The devs clearly still know how to make a great FPS, so long as they're not burdened by poor management.

I don't know why Dice made Manifest brighter. I liked how dark it was when I first played the game.

Now that you mentioned sounds... I played today after the update, and the game just sounded BETTER. Not quite sure what it was, the audio just sounded more crisp/clear, with better 3D audio. Wasn't sure if I was just going crazy, or what, but my TV also updated today. So I wasn't sure if it was just the way my TV was handling 3D audio or something was changed with the sound engine in the game.

I've been hooked on BF1. That game is awesome now that it's matured.

Very happy to see the game making a comeback now I just need more people in the servers so that I can play anything but portal

It's weird now when you have been playing COD MW2 and come back to BF2042 and realize that Call of Duty has better feel to the guns than Battlefield do. It used to be the other way around. The guns in BF2042 doesn't feel like guns, theres no recoil, they dont feel impactful at all. They all sound the same and feel the same, only difference is how they look basically. In COD, all the guns feel different from eachother and have different types of sound, looks, reload animations etc. Crazy how things change, right?

I just love that they added ribbons to solo/coop it feels like you are progression when you kill people! 😀

I purchased the PS5 disk version on Amazon for $10 a couple weeks ago and I’m having a great time playing! I love the M16 the suppressor is gold and calms the vertical recoil nicely 👍🏼

Both BF0242 and HALO have been doing quite well over the last couple of weeks. Does not excuse either game, especially BF2042 for that outrageously terrible launch, and we have the right to call them out on that. However, 2042 is shaping up to be a better Battlefield, and this is what we need to break up the monotony that is Call of Duty. Great video, as always, by the way.

Everything added works and is fun to play. Manifest got a fairly big graphical update with it's shaders and then additional cover and a bit smaller. The Vault guns are great and balanced. Plus all the additional gameplay elements (blood puffs and animations) added this patch work really well.
