The 2042 one also only falls if you blow up each cable they just used smaller explosives

Man, definitely doesn't get enough love, you would think that after back to karkand, second assault, wake island, and the few bf3 and bc2 maps we did get for portal, dice would realize. WE LOVE OLD MAPS especially compared to only getting 1 new map per season, some love letter. Whatever

@@mrspacely7320 Strike at Karkand is the most iconic BF2 map and i just miss bf2 maps. Those maps were insanely big and good. Dalian Plant, Road to Jalalabad, Mashtuur city, Kubra Dam, Zatar WetLands, Highway Tampa... shit man those maps were insane.

2042 is everything but detailed and realistic. That cake goes to BF3

@@zainul0021 He's not incorrect, 2042 has a very high detail. The problem is that all that detail looks very static and stale in comparison to a game like BF3 and BF1. Those games looked much more fluid in the environment and make you feel much more immersed in the game. With all that resolution in 2042, it still just feels flat.

its 11 years old. Now compare battlefield 3 to a game from 2000. Graphics evolution has slowed down so much saddly

They literally took the best map out of the beta without any communication, they have had SBMM in full force for the longest time just plugging their fucking ears while the game screams in agony from SBMM, look I’m sorry for the rant but I don’t think dice stooped to activision level

dice team actually left..they started their own new studio so..what was left was no experience incompetant developers that was left over at dice..that made 2042 the old team in their new studio has made 2 new games and boy can u see the dice destruction in it is real and on another level..its also a fps game the other game is a 3rd person open world game..both look awsum this is the real dice team

Doubt it because they tend to kill old games in the fear it will cut into sales of the newer stuff, which shows how much faith the current staff has in their product. They even go after grassroot free-to-play attempts to revive old BF games. BF Revive lasted barely a year; however, it was glorious while it lasted. Maybe EA will finally realize how much money they are missing out on;' though, their heads are pretty far up their asses at this point.

2042 runs a heavily modified version of the engine

bf3 audio is better, animation is smoother, comms are cooler. you can even argue that graphically portal aint even superior. lighting is off, old textures in high res environment look bad. BF2042 should be deleted from exitence.
