Idk if it’s me but 6:57 with the tank just speeding by and firing a missile feels like yet another “only in battlefield” moment. And the parachuting through the ice caps was so damn cool. Felt like the MC elytra flying courses but way more cinematic

I always gravitated towards support roles like handing out medkits and ammo, don't know why players avoid them, if you're in the thick of it, you're gonna get kills no matter your class. Happy they made an attempt to assign specialists specific class roles.

Following the recent class update, I feel confident to give the game another try. Previously, the objective of individual soldiers seemed somewhat vague, but now, it's clear what actions to take based on your role as a medic, engineer, or the like. As a result, you can methodically progress towards the objective. It's difficult to articulate what I mean, but...yeah. I might return to BF and the thought feels comforting and fluffy.

The map looks infinitely better! Glad they are taking the time to go back and 'finish' them properly. Game is pretty fun now!

Thermals look really powerful, and I've never seen so many revives in a live match ever.

I just recently decided to finally get 2042 after absolutely hating the beta because of your videos and I’ve been having so much fun. For better or worse, no game quite has that same feeling as Battlefield. I love being able to have games where I just passenger gunner a tank for the round, others where I just heal and revive people and barely fire a shot, or a round where I’m just completely focused on taking out helicopters. No matter what you do it really feels like it’s making a difference. So glad I have it another chance.

Loved the video Jack, so many you tubers think there special when all they show is either a full video of quick scoping sniper action or trashing everyone from a tank/chopper, you however have just shown that when you play your role in a team its just as fun. Keep up the good work Jack. TEAM WORKS DREAM WORK.

Meta is most likely still gonna be Mackay. Best agility and maneuverability. You have the single med pen for extreme situations where if you don’t heal in that moment you’re gonna die. You can carry c5 for anti vehicle/infantry. With an assault rifle you now have 3 extra mags as assault so ammo is less of an issue. And then you can run smokes to cover pushes, revives, etc. The ultimate jack of all trades/1 man army build.

Breakaway looks great. Lots of pathways. I'm eager to try it out in Conquest.

This update feels nice. Don't like how you have to hold Y or whatever for the plus menu, but at least throwables are back on left bumpwr or whatevee, again.

There was a change in the button layout, at least on Xbox. It was a minor one, but it was with how you used the plus system. I found myself getting healed much more now, which I like, and the teams seemed more cohesive too.

Played this morning. The classes are a godsend. Battlefield is finally back. I've already switched between various classes/specialists this morning from having to change strategies and I've been playing with ONLY Angel before this update.

My fav part of BF games was being a team player and running medic for heals/revives or support for ammo, so I like watching that kind of teamplay. It's also partly why I could never get into 2042 before since it seemed everyone could do everything. Now with these roles more or less back, I may have to try this game again

This is the first time this game has looked fun to me. The map improvements really helped. I may re-download it.

Thermals need more distortion, there is almost no disadvantage to using over a regular scope while having massive advantage.

This feels great! I played all day yesterday on breakthrough heck i got all weekly challenges within two games, its the most fun the game has been since launch by far. Still waiting to see if the vehicles will get other armaments like the Vtol with rocket pods or 40mm GLs or even new planes, like a Vtol type for Rus and a dogfighter for the US.

The Battlefield franchise had the same fate as Medal of Honor.

Great update. Feels like real battlefield now. Breakaway map rework is fantastic. Especially on breakthrough.

One thing that really needs to be updated is the minimap enemy markers. I can't tell you the amount of times that I've been looking for an enemy not knowing if they're above, below, or on the same level as me since the soldier dot never changes.

Theres something about your videos I love, might try doing KZfaq but I'm always busy so don't get the chance.

Today was my first time giving this game a try and I must I'm definitely loving the gameplay

Try to play bf 2042 on ps4 with crossplay off, getting into lobbies with 2 people and the rest bots if u even het into a match

I’ve always played medic and one thing I’ve found useful for reviving is pinging downed friendlies. That way they know I’m coming to revive them and don’t bleed out immediately

Got 2042 right after they put out the new update, only complaints are the grind to get new weapons/weapon mods and the fact that an smg can engage a sniper at 200+ meters. Other than that it seems pretty fun.

Noooo I'm getting bf4 flashbacks. And with this flashback my get is reminding me of the flash grenades too 😭😭
