This game needed more Dima missions.

Anyone else feel genuinely touched by the way Dima reacts to Vlad's death? All placing a hand on his chest and then glancing back one last time before rushing on? Fucking heartbreaking...That last glance back killed me.

Underrated campaign. It wasn't the greatest or most memorable, but it surely wasn't bad.

After 2 terror attacks in Paris it was hard to walk through this mission...acc to the game the mission happens in 13 november, and now, also in 13 november there was a real terror attack....interesting, maybe the terrorists played this game too

He must stop the next nuke in New York. Dima was the only one besides the American who could stop the attacks lol. Once he says "he didn't stop it" the American knows the shit is hitting the fan and it is up to him alone. Great story mode in my option

Thanks for posting. Liked the play through. I sincerely hope you take this as well as it's intended, but you might want to think about targeting. Identify your primary arch (of fire), secondary, and tertiary. You'll spend less time shooting couches, walls, and your buddy's leg. Say you're peeking out from cover (where you should be). Peek out a short bit, and you ID target1. Know that he can ID you too! Peek out a bit further and you ID target2. Now you have two guys who can shoot you. Peek further to ID target3 & so on. You're giving up cover to go after target3 first, your tertiary arch, while targets 1 and 2 are peppering you. Peek out just a nudge so you're only fighting one guy at a time. Primary arch first. Drop target1. NOW you're clear to push your cover more to your secondary arch, and drop target 2. Rinse & repeat for arch3/target3. Also, don't use friendlies as cover. You're begging for a grenade bunched up like that. Notice your AI friendlies spread out so they're firing from two positions. That means enemies have fire incoming from two directions. Could have been 3 directions to your tactical advantage, but you can't achieve that if you're hiding behind your buddy. Seen so many players struggle when they actually have the skills to steamroller like a boss with some very simple (real life!!) combat tactics. Happy Gaming and Semper Fi.

Agreed, that part has me scratching my head. I hear him say "Blyats", and then "Gde fakir". "Gde" is simple enough but I was stumped when I heard "fakir" since that's an Arabic word and sounds out of place in Russian, especially the translation given in the subtitle.

Hmm, I would agree. However, whereas Vlad is comperendable except for one part where he sounds like he forgot what he was on about (probably dodgy script), Kirill sometimes says something that sounds like nothing at all (part at 2:45). We also have Bad Company 2 to make a comparison with, which handled the subject superbly.

I stand corrected. Their accents are nevertheless pretty good...some of it sounds like they're mumbling but the pronunciation is usually spot on. I am actually surprised why they would cast the model of a Russian but then give the voice to non-native Russian speakers.

I hate pressing Z to go prone. CTRL should ideally toggle between stand, crouch and prone positions. It would be so much better.

I don't know why, but every single time Dima activates the jammer, my speakers sound like they're getting interference. This is the second time its happened. Be it freaky or deliberate on Dice's end, I love it.
