Tank movement speed can be in infantry pace, by holding down CTRL, but never ever have i seen an infantry hiding behind me when i do that, or tank covered me when i do that.

The issue is that you will do a much better job screening your infantry if you keep yourself alive. Hull front to enemy tank means not dying, and absorbing the hit with your armor. Then shooting back is possible.

when there are proplayers involved even transport helis become a beast to be reackoned with, that is why i go infantry and leave the vehicles to the pros, it becomes a battle between evens and not a dominnat vehicle ownage

I know right! Im more of a hardcore fan of futuristic sci-fi shooters personally, which is why i adore BO3 or even AW, but when it comes to modern combat shooters - Batllefield's 3 and 4 blow away the Modern-Warfare games! You can't really compared the likes of AW, BO3, or IW to the other COD tittles, and certainly not Battlefield 4. But when you compare the MW trilogy to the Battlefield games - it aint even close! All of the Modern combat COD games are EXTREMELY overrated imo and i have never understood why those are the ones that the COD fanboys adore. I mean i get if futuristic shooters aren't really your thing, so i understand if people might not like those three sci-fi installments of the COD series, but when you compare apples to apples, (in other words - compare the MW games to it's peers in that particular subgenre), they simply don't remotely stack up to the likes of Battlefield's 3 and 4! Not to mention the fact that there's a number of more recent modern era shooters that do everything MW 1 through 3 were able to do, while also being fuckin free-to-play to boot - like "Black Squad" for example! As of right now, the MW trilogy along with Ghosts, (which for all intensive purposes is another MW game), none of them are even in the top five shooters in this sub-genre! Currently Ironsight, Warface, WW3, the forementioned Black-Squad, and of course both Battlefield 3 and 4 - are all better modern combat games imo, by a mile!

this is exactly why i hate the battlefield community. you're right, you can't compare futuristic exosuit zippy jumpy COD games to other COD games - but you're wrong, you *can't* compare COD to BF at this point now. you can't compare infantry only to combined arms, that's like comparing fucking Tetris to DOOM. let me remind you that battlefield 2 would have been the closest competitor to COD4. let me remind you how fucking awful BF2s gunplay is. let me remind you that you can't legally play BF2 anymore. do you like p2w, awful grind walls and ignorant developers? then yes, you can totally stick with your f2p games. go ahead. world war 3 isn't even F2p and the servers are practically empty. let me remind you that battlefield 4 was broken for nearly 2 years until it was put in a stable and playable state. let me remind you that practically all post-launch content for both BF3 and BF4 were DLC exclusive and were locked behind bullshit assignments. let me remind you that EA literally gave you the option to cough up 40 dollars and unlock everything. just remember that the battlefield series is published by the worst company in america, and that the former CEO told customers to fuck off and not buy their game if they didn't agree with his opinions on women.

Let me remind you that the COD community are cancer because they talk like activision is the worst company for adding P2W content aswell as paying full price for games with no campaign yet they’ll still buy the game and all it’s micro transactions and still whinge at Activision. Let me remind you that when BFV launched the people who didn’t buy the game and still haven’t touched it are the BFV community themselves because we know that game is a mess and certainly not worth its price because we ain’t sucked into franchise like sheep aka COD community.. Remember the majority of the Battlefield community were once part of the cod community until we got a taste of BF3 and released how good the games were instead of running and gunning recycled arena shooters because there’s heaps of arcade shooters around yet BF is its own genre. Let me remind you that the assignments was an easy way to unlock new gear and weapons ALSO unlock weapons and gear by ranking up, let me remind you that the assignments are one of the best online progression mechanics in any shooter. Let me remind you that games like COD you literally had to grind to even rank up a class but you’re two a few class ranks away from unlocking a new weapon. In BF4 you unlock a weapon for each time you rank up in BF3 you rank up to 100 BF4 140. That’s more content than all COD’s MW & BO series combined and assignments aren’t even hard to do, a 5 yr old could do them. Luckily we don’t have 5 yr old’s in our games. Also let me remind you that you can download maps for free made by the community. Talk trash about BF all you want. Also I still play MW2 on pc and I will admit, BF franchise is ahead of COD, not in sales not player base but as a game and content. I treat COD like how I treat Quake arena and unreal tournament, just a generic arena shooter but for some reason it has a fan base like it’s a religion. Not even kidding, COD’s fans treat the franchise likes it’s a religion to them and can’t seem to find a life outside of it. To be 100% real and honest people only play CoD because it’s popular (in the early days) its a trend, kids who didn’t liked it forced themselves to like it because they’re friends liked and it was a cool thing to have as a kid I know this because I went through it. So yeah cod franchise and the community are cancer to the gaming industry.

In reality, as a tank you should protect your friendly infantry by covering them from like enemy ambush, rpg's, and even from enemy tanks. Correct me if Im wrong coz thats all I know for being a tank crew, except shoot the enemies or blowing up a wall to make a way trough.
