The levolution in Battlefield 4 was something special. It did kinda ruin the map though xD

Honestly it's cool at the beginning but most of the time it turns out ruining the original layout of the map...I would love to see more destruction like bfbc2 in 2042.

The destruction was great in BF4, but the levelution was often just an annoyance like breaking the levy wall and flooding entire maps or ruining the best objective in the map.

Bf hardline had some cool ones that weren't too intrusive on the gameplay but theyd always get destroyed at the very beginning of the round.

Hopefully this map is remastered with a more intense aftermath, a fog of war in the vicinity of the fallen building adding minimal visibility.....it would be like flipping a switch from day to night and also making it a "think before you do the thing" that will change the entire vibe of the map. I'd like the building in Bf2042 to land in 3 different ways: Original building fall location, falling to the left destroying that area and combining two cap zones into a huge zone turning it into a giant infantry battle, falling to the right creating the same sized zone as the left side event, creating a close courters hellhole for everyone who wants to hold that huge zone. I'd like to imagine these different fall directions would be based off of what side players damage the most during the match, it would be cool to be random but adding logic/strategic moments to take advantage of the map for your team sounds amazing. Sorry, seeing this and thinking about BF2042 inspired tf outta me ':)

@@zzz2090 Depends on your setup, if it's on the left or right side of your desk then you know those outcomes if you end up raging at some twat camping or an rpg only using prick. If it's under your desk, it would probably slam onto a toe and cause you to scream out in agony or not fall at all if there are other things next to or around your PC. All depends on your setup, were running on the engine of life so anything can happen.

I had never even seen that firework effect on the opposite skyscraper, in all the hours on that damn map I had missed some posh LED firework show!! But yea, awesome effect and still a very pretty game - fingers crossed they nail this one!! Keep up the great content fella ;)

When you talk about levolution this is the first thing that comes to mind because it's unique, but other events deserves more attention as well. Rough Transition, Flood Zone, Hainan Resort, Lancang Dam, Paracel Storm, Zavod 311 and Sunken Dragon

Operation locker levolution is not really impressive, but it's an really great ad in term of strategy on this map... Surely one of the most underatade one.

Unpopular opinion: the fight for the ruins is better than for the tower

I don't necessarily agree with this I find the layout of the ruins to be a little annoying but to be fair, I think people over blow their annoyance with the building coming down the ruins aren't thatttt bad plus there is plenty of other capture points in different sectors of this map Shanghai is a large and expensive true battlefield map people just get annoyed because they can't dick around on c point anymore.

I love shells as primary and secondary in the tank on this map. I can destroy the tower within' like a minute at the start of every match. Drives people mad hahaha.

This is a legendary map and that is why is going to be on Battlefield portal that is why they delayed the game to add more maps to battlefield portal. We will see maps from bad company 1 too.

One of the more fun parts of battlefield.... Theres a bunch of infantry hiding in the town waiting for us to come in... what should we do? Grabs tank, bombers and artillery cannons.... Level it.
