in breakthrough spawn beacons straight win matches though. Deploying to the front again and again vs the 8 mile run from spawn lets you keep pressure or defend more readily. Im happy whoever wants one can get one since now SMG/AR flanker types use it and not just snipers in the rear full of fear.

Yeah spawn beacon, proxy sensors and a non-sniper weapon and the recons can cap so well. Underrated class for PTFOing.

In BFBC2 I was the asshole that ran around with a Neostead with slugs, raffica or grach, and tossed motion balls and C4 like it was a fucking christmas parade. Ding dong and ho ho ho I'm clapping your M-COM.

Yes! A fellow recon with the same mentality! That’s rare these days. Haha. I hate camping. Yeah, I’ll stay in a single space for a bit but it was always near an objective and I would be doing what recon is supposed to like spot enemies and set up a beacon, but I never hesitated to sneak in with a pistol and start engaging the enemy the moment other teammates came in to help. I did tend to go full on sniper frenzy mode depending on how open the map was and start popping off from a single far away position. But it was never all game, idk how people can do that. I like covering the flanks of teammates from a distance if I have a good shot that game. If not, I’ll switch to assault and use a marksman rifle. I miss my SKS from BF4 though. I shredded with it. I’ve always been good with the Lee Enfield sniper, but will always use my Kar98 over it any day.

That's how I did it. Recon with Phantom Bow, Motion Sensors and Spawn Beacon. My most used loadout by far.

It's for capturing and defending the objectives, which win the game. Contrary to popular belief, sniping a guy every minute or two, and then watching them get revived, doesn't actually contribute to wins.

I never put it so far though. I would get as close as possible and hide it in an area with little foot traffic. But far away enough that anyone camping the flag can’t hear it or stumble across it. Putting them on towers or mountains was stupid to me. The amount of enemies I’ve sniped who had to run from their team’s beacons to an objective at such a distance put them in the open for longer periods of time. Easy shot.

Because the spawn beacon isn't just for your coward ass, its for the real men who want to go down and get into the fight who are in your squad

@@traceurs619 Look... MAYBE you're in the top percentile of people that play sniper that actually do something useful, but I've gotta play the odds here and assume that you're not. There's no denying the reality that giving spawn beacons to snipers is a terrible gameplay decision.

because the developers don't want you to play the game the way you want to...O and like dead by daylight survivors, the other classes have more people complaining about your class not making their game fun for them. So their selfish behavior is more important to pander to.

I think first episode has to be about Specialists. They've always been Recon, Engineer, etc, so they will probably pick new characters. I wish there was one more girl character in 2042, then they could all play ladies. At least on though has to be the grandma.😆

In Hardline Recon class was renamed into Professional, Engineer turned Mechanic, but they gameplay roles remained same

Hardline wasn't even main series, it was a spin-off from Vísceral games
