Last time i checked the Harlem helfighters fought along side with the french... In the prologue they are alongside the british... There werent any tanks in 1915 in the Marne, people were running freely out of the trenches while un reality you couldnt even peak There werent prototipes and smg's 24/7,... If you pay attention, you'll notice that they actually pieced together sections of BF1942 and 1943's themes for this rendition: 1943's intro, 1942's trumpets, then a transition to 1943's string flourishes. It sounds absolutely amazing. What's even greater is that they play 1943 part in the airplane scene as a reference to Air Superiority in 1943.

I'm also not that type of gamer that gets every AAA title that come out. I only play 2 games (Battlefield or GTA) and I'm a PC gamer so mods for GTA V are still having me play the game till this day (not GTA Online which is complete garbage IMO). Maybe ArmA 3 or wait for 4 who knows. I just want to be able to pilot an attack helicopter.

Если в данной Компании работает человек, который не понимает, что гвоврит и ему все равно на то, что происходило на нашей территории, я не буду покупать продукты данной компании, чтобы не провоцировать их на такое поведение за мои деньги. Пусть относительно и малый вклад, но, возможно, что я буду не один, а так глядишь и нас много наберется. Меньше прибыль компании, меньше странных людей там будет работать, потому что на них не будет денег. В деревне, из которой много моих родственников, живьем сжигали в сараях людей. How is it trash lol. This is alternate reality WW2 ffs. You play in the chaotic battlefield universe not reality so don't expect realism. Trailer is really good and it looks fun. It's already more fun than bf1 which still has problems like terrible matchmaking and restricted movement. Bfv is improving on that.

Firstly I would like to say that this is an amazing game - the multiplier is enthralling and I really like the way you have brought back and innovated the testing range also the new squad system where the leader can call in support items is very creative and innovative. That being said I was a bit disappointed with the campaign. I really like the war stories and how you get to experience different characters however you failed to show all the different conflict zones in WW2. What about the eastern front with the soviets? Seeing as the Soviet Union was basically the superpower responsible for defeating the nazis you would have thought that they would be relevant. Also by failing to highlight the immense sacrifice and loss of life by the Soviets is a failure to capture the Second World War. There are so many major and war defining battles on this front - Stalingrad, Leningrad, operation Citadel, Kursk, Warsaw uprising (Polish resistance betrayed by Stalin and left at the hands of the SS), the battle of Berlin. Furthermore, there is no mention of the other major conflict in the East against Japan. This would have led to and opened up many different storylines and narratives - Kamikaze pilots, Naval battles, Beach landings, Island hopping, Air battles etc. This wouldn't just be an american front, as China, the UK, India, Australia, the Philippines to name but a few were all involved in this field of war. I don't understand why this wasn't done to be honest. It seems as though two of the first person shooter giants - COD and Battlefield - produced games in the same time period and failed to capture anything other than the west fighting the nazis. I understand battlefield's main goal is not single player but opening up these avenues in single player would lead to incredible multiplayer matches with different maps and a wider variety of weapons on offer.

From what I understand, the campaign was supposed to highlight the lesser known stories from WW2, just like BF1 did with WW1. That being said, it's an absolute disgrace that DICE swapped a group of heroes for 2 dumb chicks. Makes you question why they even went for a WW2 setting instead of a modern one (considering that battlefield 2, 3 and 4 were set in a modern time)

The consensus seems to be that all of the controversy surrounding this game can be traced to that awful reveal trailer and the subsequent hamfisted PR fiasco. Few people would have cared about the crazy customization options being in the game itself if the marketing department hadn't so blatantly advertised that insanity from the get-go in a Pervitin-fueled trailer.
