Battlefield 4 for me. It was the first battlefield I ever played and it’s such a brilliant game. I just loved the way you unlocked things in that game compared to other battlefields

As long as they don't pull the disaster they did with the "No Campaign" that was a Disaster, it took them several years to fix it but a "Campaign/Storyline" is very necessary got to have an offline or online Campaign given the Price Tag, especially Fans like me that Bought The $100 version, not having a Campaign was very disrespectful to the Fans

I remember pre-ordering BF for 150 euro and not long later in was free to play and I didnt get anything extra... I loved and played BF for years and liked it even more then COD. I really hope they get there mojo back!

Battlefield Hardline for me was the best modern style shooter and the feel of the game was the best , The Finals came close to that

I never preordered any game, i usually wait a couple of months to a year after release to see if it is actually any good, the last bf game that i was truly excited was bf 1, bf v imo is peak battlefield it's problem was that it was advertised to the wrong crowd, my all time favourite battlefield is Bad Company 2 that i still play to this day.

I will believe it, when i see it and play it. Its not just EA, a few of game companies are doing this. The visuals and gameplay they show in trailers and teasers is completely different when it is launched. So i am not hyped. I'll wait.

I played BF’s 1 and 4, 5. 1 and 5 were pretty good. 4 was great! I have been playing HLL and with that they have the WWII time period done just right. BF and COD need to stick to the Modern eras.

Even though battlefield is known for multiplayer i'd like to see some effort added to single player too. Not only a campaign, but future single player missions added after battlefield 6 launches. It's so easy for everyone to be a hypocrite now and say 'go play gow of ragnarok or final fantasy 7 rebirth' which are both phenomenal games, but when was the last time a military shooter with a great single player campaign came out? MW3 remake is garbage!

Idk if it’ll release this year, if it would it’ll come in OCT and that’s only 5 months away. If it’s coming this year it’ll have to be announced soon and it doesn’t sound like we are close to an announcement. I think 2025 is more likely

Battlefield is in a rough spot. They need to evolve the game while maintaining the core features that made it great back in BC2, BF3, BF4 days. Destruction needs to be a priority as well as good map design and maybe incorporating the game mode to work with destruction

Live service mostly means that game wont be playable offline, other BF never were live service not including newest one.

Meanwhile, former Dice/Battlefield devs have become the driving force behind Combat Champions. A little goofy looking, maybe, but since seeing it just this morning I've been more interested in it than whatever EA has planned for the corpse of Battlefield.

I think the next Battlefield needs to be a game that is carried over a few years with different chapters, & it could be based on the Afghanistan War, they was lots of allied forces took place from British to USA & lots of NATO troops, so this would be a good place to start, Imo, a live open Battlefield with a DMZ style map of a massive Afghanistan area with buildings & desert, have AI Taliban insurgents & Live PVP PMC rebels, have Authentic Operators With SAS/SBS USA Navy seals Delta Force, British Paratroopers, lots of different dedicated characters, & have a few from the same Regiments too, so like 6 SAS/SBS & 6 Navy seals & Delta Force, ect fully Authentic & customisable weapons, M4A2 & HK416 & HK417 , L115 Sniper rifle, have weapons attached to characters backpacks & if they cannot do that just have them invisible like they have been doing, I just want a really Authentic detailed Battlefield game with dedicated characters like BFV but with the Graphics like Battlefield 1 & game ideas from call of duty DMZ, the only game that has this idea so for is Gray zone Warfare, the fist game imo who gets this on Console is the winner imo, also the next Battlefield game needs to be 120hz in 4k no excuses, 60hz is not acceptable, xbox SX has been out for years now, I how they will make is happy & listen to our requests 🙏✌

For BFV though, why was there no Naval battles? Bomber runs or just bombers in general. In 1942 we had Midway and Iwo Jima WITH the entire island. We had Wake island the entire island to fight on. We had all of that in 2002. It is 2024 and they can't even put good immersive content like that in a game anymore. Still waiting on a new fully fledged vietnam game or cold war BF game.

Bad company 2, BF3 and BF4 Were peak battlefield. Hands down. Chaos, maps, sound design, weapons handling, vehicles.... nothing has been THAT good ever since.

I would love for the new battlefield game to be in Vietnam or maybe in the Korean War and I hope they put special characters in again because that was really good and for the factions have the Americans Australians South Koreans South Vietnamese North Vietnamese Viet Cong and maybe even the Russians that would be really good

I don't think people are upset purely because it is a "live service" title. As stated, many games have been under the live service model for a long time. The problem is that nowadays, big gaming corps will use the term "life service" as an excuse to release a broken, half-baked product under the promise that it will be fixed later. People want a finished product at release. They want what they paid for now, not in 3 years when the player base is dead. This criticism is unwarranted either. Battlefield V had an incredibly rough launch. It did get a lot better and I personally enjoyed the game, but Battlefield was a colossal fuck up that people are not going to forget any time soon.

They better not fuck it up, Vietnam is my favorite setting
