Battle of Uhad was fought on 5th Shawal, Uhd is a hill, Number of Muslim martyrs in the battle of Uhad are 70, In Uhad, Quraish were lead by Abu Sufwan, In Uhad number of Muslims 1000 & kufar 3000. In the Battle of Uhad, two teeth of the Holy Prophet (SAW) were martyred.
Uhad is located 3 miles from Madina, 50 archers were posted to protect the pass in Uhad mountain. 10 archers were left behind, remaining 40 left the place thinking that the battle is over.
In Uhd battle Muslim women participated for the first time, First female martyr: was Hazrat Summaya (RA) by Abu Jahl (mother of Amaar bin Yaasir).
Abdullah bin Ubai was accompanied by 300 men.
