I’ve had my for a couple months, absolutely blown away with the 20v Bauer brushless line, I keep buying them and have amounted a small collection. Multi tool, Sander Sawzall Hammer drill Impact They are ALL great tools! I’ve ran about 20 8 inch timber locks with my 1/4 impact and it just took it no problem 5Ah battery the 8 amp on the sawzall just does not die. I’m shocked.

I’m a commercial HVAC tech, and left my Milwaukee impact at a job and I really needed an impact so stopped by HF and picked up this little guy. I’m very happy with the quality of the tool. It does exactly what I need it to and for a small percentage of what I paid for my Milwaukee fuel impact.

Glad I saw your video, I'm looking to buy a impact driver in the next couple of days 👍

Sometimes I wish my brushed Bauer impact would die so I could justify getting the brushless! It just keeps right on working though!

If you can swing the cost, it might just be worth the upgrade anyway!

I absolutely love my Bauer tools. I work for a P/H supply house and sell the other red/black branded tools. Like you, I'm a Diy guy so, I have no need to pay the outrageous pricetag for the Mil branded tools. Bauer fits my needs perfectly.

I hope they keep Bauer for a long time. They have great tool line and an unbeatable price for the quality. A $40 Bauer impact driver does just as much work as a $100 Makita

I've been looking into getting more power tools. Watching your videos and others about the Bauer tools, I've had 1 Bauer impact for a year now, use it here and there without issue. I have a few friends who are Milwaukee fan-boys who use their tools for work, but I've been looking into getting more Bauer to use at home. As somebody who doesn't work in a trade, Milwaukee price tags aren't for me. Your videos have definitely steered me more towards Bauer and I plan on starting a collection of them over this summer as my wife and I just moved out to the country to fix up a house start a hobby farm.

Do you have one of the bauer circular saws in 20v and if so what do you think?

I’ve been thinking about these. I do have Milwaukee and dewalt but these look tough

If you don’t mind multiple battery types (supposedly Bauer will work with dewalt batteries) then it’s a good option.

Is there enough torque for automotive uses?Or would you recommend a 1/2 inch model
@DereksWorkshopAndProjects

I would definitely say that you would probably want the impact wrenches. Like the 1/2 inch brushless model. My low torque brushed 1/2 impact wrench struggled to take the lug nuts off my F250.

I work on semi trucks with it. I just replaced a center bearing and it was enough to remove the u-joint bolts. Great value and power for the price. I've had mine for 2 years. I use all 5amp batteries

The 1/2" is also pretty good though. But at that point I'd just invest in air tools if you can. The 1/2 can put out significant work. I've used it to temporarily torque down 53' trailer wheels when my compressor went down and they held very well

How comfortable is the tool when it is driving screws? I have the gen 3 Milwaukee and it feels like a hammer is hitting my hand when driving bigger screws. The Surge is amazing but I gave it to my brother. I have the brushed Bauer and it feels nice and smooth like the Surge and drives screws real quick and easy. The milwaukee also slips constantly while the Bauer doesn't.

I would say the Brushless Bauer is as smooth if not more smooth than the brushed but this is by memory so don’t take it for much.

A number of years ago, harbor freight built basically nothing but garbage as far as their motorized tools. I have been consistently impressed over the last few years with the Bauer line. Definitely they take the crown for the bang for buck, while still maintaining acceptable quality levels. The one thing I will say is that their tools are bulky. One of the reasons that I still have two particular Milwaukee 12 volt tools, is their size. Some of the manufacturers are starting to get a lot better with the size of the 18 volt tools as well (there's no difference between 18, 19.2, and 20 volt tools, it's just a question of where in the curve you measure the battery voltage, as well as marketing). I'm actually quite impressed by the $180 cordless compound miter saw, the corded mini worm drive circular saw ($65), and the brushless oscillating tool. I don't see my Milwaukee 2552 going anywhere, is that is my all-time favorite impact driver from any manufacturer, nor my 2504 1/2" hammer drill because nothing else is nearly comparable at that physical size, but I have been buying more and more of these harbor freight Bauer tools. I work in telecom, so it's not like I'm doing commercial construction.

If you watched the video I said “I’m a DIYer, I don’t use it every day” and obviously I’m not using it in just absolutely filthy environments.

Quality vs affordability is unmatched with bauer. I have 8 tools with 6 batteries and multiple chargers for under $500. With dewalt or milwaukee that would have been unaffordable
