The two Best motorcycle racers by far . Both have areas where each bike is better, both riders really have such excellent race craft, proper racers. Really felt for Toprak at end, not to take anything away from Alvaro . Both those bikes have to be ridden hard and these two ride harder than anyone. Massive respect. I’ve watched and gone to world superbikes since first watching Doug Pollen , and David Tardozzi at donnington park, then Scot Russell battling Foggy etc etc , over the years there are very few riders who actually became at one with their bike. Alvaro and Toprak are two. Outstanding and a privilege to watch. 👏👏👏🇬🇧

Toprak Razgatlioglu is a stunning motorcycle racer, absolutely amazing. His mentality and steadfastness are worthy of the highest respect. I cannot wait to see him ride in the flesh at Jerez in a couple of weeks. If anyone still had any doubt before this round as to who was the better rider...that should be settled now once and for all. If I were a Bautista supporter (which there is absolutely nothing wrong with) and had some decency and clarity, I would probably celebrate quite quietly after what has happened at this round. Also, really impressed by Garrett Gerloff, he's back to being aggressive. He and Toprak are going to spearhead BMW's WSBK challenge in a fashion that is loud and clear in the coming years.

After this beautiful battle ı wonder how come MotoGP doest have Toprak in their organization!!! I guess MotoGP would have been watched by twice people at least if Torak races there. Pure talent and entertainer. I am thrilled to experience this battle which I couldn't forget in my lifetime. Thanks to Toprak and Bautista.

Toprak is my favorite, simply because of the way he drives. It has to suck, to loose the championship on the finish straight. (this wasn't the first time, they had intense battles and Bautista won on the final straight). But winning like that can't be satisfying for a race driver. Bautista owes it to his crew, to use the advantage, the team worked so hard for, to achieve. But he seems to know that he only won, because of the bikes superior performance. Maybe we'll see an even fight in the next season, because the BMW can almost keep up with the Ducati in a straight line, Razgatlioglu always wins on the breaks and is at least an even match in corners. The last weekend will still be entertaining. The championship might be as good as decided, but they are not going to slack off. The Both want to win each race, all of the riders do.

I wouldn’t say he won because of the bike, check the last corner he passed toprak from the outside before the straight even started. Passing toprak on the outside of a corner? I thought yamaha was stronger in corners. Bautista was just absolutely scary. He just showed he was the best yesterday.

@@bobbychills37 Toprak lost the front end and catched the grip back, it was enough to cost him his intended line and some momentum, hence ducati could outpowered the yamaha at that golden moment. Alvaro saw the opportunity and let the rest to electronics and superior power. we could not see them in same seen if same riders rode each others bikes.

2024 umarım BMW daha güçlü bir motor verirse, Bautista'nın işi zor, normal motor kullanarak şampiyon ması zor. Toprak hiç hata yapmadı motoru ve şartları zorladığı halde, Bautista hata yaptı, Ducati Toprakta olsaydı en az 10 sn fark yapmıştı.

@@ERIC-WRIGHT Kawasaki never was the best bike in WSBK, but Johnny pushed to the max over and over again! Let's be honest here - where was Bautista's "skills" riding Honda? To weigh same as a 12 y. o. boy and 15 kg less than your rivals isn't a skill exactly. The Ducati's advantage is ridiculous.

Nadie le ha regalado nunca nada. Y en MotoGP nadie nunca hablo de su peso como una excusa. Solo los mediocres buscan excusas para justificar que otro piloto lo hace mejor. El peso y menor estatura la ayuda en unos sitios y le perjudica en otros. Solo veis lo que os interesa ver.

Much respect to Bautista, but if he didn’t have the power over Toprak he wouldn’t have even competed in this race. Toprak deserved those races but Bautista won by pure power. It’s great racing but put Toprak on a Ducati and watch him fly past Bautista.

Toprak can overrun his bike for 20 laps, brake too late, force the opponent to take evasive action to avoid a crash - Bautista and Ducati did a better job than Toprak and Yamaha. Period. And so the victories in Portugal and soon the next world title (Ducati already has it) are highly deserved for Bautista!

And thats why he struggles in the corners more than most riders cos of his small frame he can't man handle the bike in corners or get it stopped as good as others there is pros and cons to it not just oh it's un fair its not the best rider wins at the end of the day
