Just a tip -- this pomade actually works best if your hair is still damp, especially if your hair is medium or thicker. If it is too dry, you will not be able to style/mold the shape for your look. It is more beeswax than petroleum... your hair actually feels healthier after use instead of dried out or greasy/heavy. Without a doubt --BEST pomade I have ever used.

Whaaaaat in the H! I always like when I find other youtubers from Houston. I know this is a really old video so idk if you're still here, but I'll definitely check out your other videos. I just got this pomade as a Christmas present and I wanted to see other opinions. Very good review 🤘

Seriously you should definitely try out Morris Motley's Treatment Styling Balm. It is one of the best hair products known to man. It is worth having it shipped from Australia. It also works wonders for the scalp. Rob Mason is a genius for creating it, so give it a try and review it when you get the chance.

So the way you're describing this product; is it like a lighter version of Reuzel Pink?

I already have this but it doesn't hold my hair if I want a pomp. I have thick wavy hair, so should I try for something like suavetico firme hold or just try a different style with this product? I'm pretty new to using pomades/gels/hair products in general.

Try out Morris Motley balm. I used to only use these type of clay pomades and stopped because of the dryness you mentioned. MM is a little expensive but well worth it. Hands down one of the best products I've ever used. Ever.

***** Agreed here. Freaking expensive, but its handmade (for now) and really effective on fine/thin hair.

I find this product to really dry out my hair every time. After I wash it out, it gives me a lot of frizz which I have never experienced before. Maybe its the climate (really hot) that causes the clay to perform like this. I wish it wouldnt dry out as much so that it doesnt become super grippy

-Petroleum-Based and wax based pomades are easy to wash out
@Art2D29 жыл бұрын
Jj John Compared to water based, no they are not. Especially the heavier ones which require some method or another product, while a water based just needs one shower or a few.

Is it really matte finish because your hair looks to have a bit of a shine afterwards. Don't get me wrong that isn't a bad thing. I actually want a product with like a low/mid shine but with a strong hold like mister pompadours natural beeswax. I was thinking this was a good alternative but I want to be sure about the shine of the product first.
@3nhj3tyx8 жыл бұрын
+miguelr246 i have this product and what you say is kinda true. at least in my opinion, it doesnt give you the zero shine from other matte products. but still, its a very small amount of shine, if any. its a great product, give it a try. but if u want mid shine perhaps try something else.
@miguelr2468 жыл бұрын
+3nhj3tyx I was thinking of trying their hard cream pomade because it also boasts a firm hold but since it is more like a cream I thought it wouldn't dry out my hair like most clays. So I might go for that but not so many demos of that one.
@ryancriollo23747 жыл бұрын

Something about his videos are awkward u need light music in the back or something
@eldev44328 жыл бұрын
All his videos are awkward, not to mention his terrible haircut. It does not have any texture and heavy therefore his hair falls flat. Also, his hair is typical of an Asian hair which is straight so it does not really have a body to it especially when it gets that long like his. This product does not rinse well at all contrary to what he said. It does hold well and at times, that petroleum scent comes alive almost like a petroleum jelly scent.
