This video will help learners with bay parking step by step UK. The lesson will help you with each and every steps of how a bay parking is done going forward into a bay on the right and reverse into a bay on the left.
Bay Parking UK step by step fully explained the theory and also how to put it into practice. When doing this bay parking going forward or reversing into a bay in the test you must bear in mind 3 things and pass on these 3 things:
1. Control. Must make sure the control of your car is good.
2. Observation. Must make sure the observation is good including blind-spots are checked.
3. Position. Must make sure the car is within the bay and not touching the lines on either sides, and if on the line then you must correct.

Well explained. I failed my test just before 5 second of end of my test because of sudden confusion of position. It was forward bay parking . I was confident with that parking but may be it was luck. Now looking forward for next test.

Is it a driving fault/mistake if i don't put on the handbrake when i come out of the front bay parking before turning right or left. thanks so much for your teachings it has helped me a lot, but if you don't have lines at the parking lot and you have other cars parked how do you determine your reference point and also for the parallel parking if you don't have any car parked to line up with how do you go about it

If there are no lines then you use the car as the reference and imagine where the lines can be. And on the parallel parking, if there are no car then you don't do parallel parking. You just go in straight forward and no need to reverse for the parallel parking.

Please check video clip 8:02 , it’s look like going dry steering for full right lock. is it allowed dry steering during exam or do need keep moving during full right lock?

When you’re learning don’t worry too much about dry steering. To get the steps right and to remember and to memories the steps dry steering is okay. Then once you’ve learnt the steps and it comes naturally you can practice to get it in one go without stopping in every steps without dry steering! Hi Anna Different instructors will use different methods with different references, and some will use the same. This method will work on all learner car in similar size.
