I just watched a Bolshoy version. This one is far more emotionally touching by skipping a lot of stuff. Highly demanding on both dancers. The result is seamless display of soulful reunion. Kumakawa as usual intense and flawless. What a grand artist. Impeccable taste.

I did not see the Bayadere with him but at present time the most perfect inheritor of Kumakawa especially in the Bayadere is Kimin Kim.Same elegance, technical skills but also great ability to amaze us with his fantastic acting skill.
