Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, ‘Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then i will tell them plainly, I never knew you, Away from me you evildoers!. Many will list the works they did. They prophesied, drove out demons and perform many miracles in the “name” of Jesus. Please note it does not say that they said, “Lord, we repented of our sins and believe in your work on the cross to redeemed us! We trusted you to saved us Jesus!.” But instead they listed they're “works” or rituals or keeping the law can not save a single one of us because, “No one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law: rather, through the law we become conscious of sins”. Romans 3:20 And in Galatians 2:21 “I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”.
