Things about Bayverse Starscream I actually like: - his first (English) voice line. It’s very garbled and alien and I kind of wish that was his voice for the rest of the movies. (His second English voice line is what his voice actually sounds like for the first movie, though. It’s not bad, either.) - the fact that he constantly speaks Cybertronian. He’s the only one to consistently do so. - whenever he’s not doing anything, he’s perching somewhere. Usually nearby Megatron. Giant metal bird. - he seems to really like being in the air. He mostly attacks from above, perches, and is usually up high on a building or ledge instead of on the ground - he fly!!! I really wish more Transformers shows would allow him to be the terror of the skies instead of constantly on the ground. - he can actually win a fight. Pls let Starscream win more fights I am BEGGING - the implication that he is raising like a truckload of sparklings/hatchlings. Where did they come from? Why does he have them? Starscream is such a sadist. You can see so many cases where Starscream would show active enjoyment in tormenting lesser beings and because of that intoxicating thought that he’s the superior creature compared to the being he’s tormenting, it causes him to fail, like when he’s chasing Sam in Dark of The Moon. He purposely toys with Sam and Carly while chasing them just to terrify them before killing them. That ultimately caused his downfall. Had he just fired a missile upon them or shot them with his machine gun turret, he would’ve survived, killed Sam and moved on. Maybe then we would’ve seen him in the new movies. I sometimes wonder what an Age of Extinction and Last Knight Starscream design would look like.

I enjoy the fact that Star Scream's voice was changed from what it originally sounded like in the first film. In movie 1 he just sounds like a generic decepticon, more or less just a higher version of Megatron's voice, but then in 2 and 3 they give him his proper voice.

Man, the personality kept growing across the trilogy. In the first his 2 lines are those of a servant. In the second he displays cowardice and sadism. In the third he sounds like a servant again (with a bit of sass) and just in his death scene he was just dripping with sadistic mockery, fear and pain and a lot of anger. 9:24 so I see everyone give starscream crap for dying how he does here, I’m gonna dissect it- first he stammers as his eye is impaled on three paper thin blades that all go into the center of his eye, and ontop of that three prongs all impale his eye and then slowly yet painfully his eye is yanked out of his socket After what is likely a horrifically painful experience he flails around in pain which is understandable before jumping up on a building and trying to punch sam and then just hold onto the building before he loses his grip causing him to stumble backwards onto the other building before he manages to grab hold of the wire and tries to less painfully yank it out of his literal EYE- I admit that him randomly stumbling backwards and into the building again not even trying to scratch the hook out of his eye or grab the wire/Sam seemed a bit unnecessary even if he was still in pain it wouldn’t have been enough to make him stumble right there if I had to bet, but then he flies up likely trying to fling Sam off since he does a quick spin but either he has a internal problem preventing him from flying into the air to get Sam off, or he’s just not thinking about the situation enough and stops flying when the wire likely pulls harder because of Sam being stuck in the building as screamer pulls away and then gets ambushed and shot with armor piercing rounds since normal bullets don’t do anything to cybertronians which is common knowledge at this rate for the army- As scream is being shot from the ground below him and turned into a pincushion he also gets a missile to the shoulder while still having his eye yanked harder because of the wire and where it is pulling on starscreams eye harder as it bends and can’t extent more as Sam is behind starscream kinda making starscream stuck unless he turns around and gets Sam out of the building, when Sam jumps onto a staggered scream and then clings to his face scream doesn’t know what to do since he has a human just hanging onto his face now and the amount of pain from the missile and bullets and his eye is likely adding up, Sam then stabs a decently large bomb into screams other eye completely blinding him making him understandably freak out in pain and fear/stress that he’s blind as Sam still hangs onto him and he now has no idea where he is, not to mention again all the damage even now minor the bullets were are adding up in pain causing scream to flip and lose it completely as he begins panicking and now Lennox hangs onto the wire with sam adding more weight and pulling harder on screams still barely attached eye while he struggles and bangs his face on the ground in a desperate attempt to get the two objects one of which is rapidly beeping adding to his panic as it’s obviously a bomb- scream scratches his face to get them out of his eyes but fails and just curses the humans in frustration and starts seemingly getting loopy and light headed likely from energon loss or something similar since his eyes are either being yanked out or are now gone entirely, he then stumbles and while still blind flies up but has no idea where he is in relation to his surroundings so he just lands on the corner of the building and tries to sit up straight as the bomb beeps quicker and starscream tries again to get the hook out of his eye along with the bomb while angrily and in a seemingly confused state cursing the humans before he ends up dying mid sentence Summary : scream was caught off guard and at first in agony and panicking as the pain in his eye slowly but surely got worse until he was ambushed and had bullets and missiles and the hook pull even harder on his eye leaving him confused, panicking, and stunned and staggered before sam suddenly grabs onto screams face and hangs on surprising and catching him off guard before his other eye is completely destroyed by the bomb being jammed in there making it pop out of socket and destroying whatever wires are still in there making him blind causing scream to lose it and panic while angrily screaming and cursing the humans out as the beeping of the bomb lodged in his eye makes his panic worse not to mention his infused seemingly making him loopy and more unfocused in a sense as he stumbles in pain before flying but not knowing where he is making him land and then did as he tries to claw the stuff out of his eyes in panic and frustration, screamer died because he was caught off guard, in pain, confused and then ambushed leading to a lot of pain and panicking on on his part before he loses all concentration in pain and is blinded completely and just loses his mind

People saying they like his latter voice better than the 2007 iteration are on straight up copium "The humans have taken it" sounds metallic and rascally so great for the live adaption

I've always seen starscream as tactful, a brilliant second in command, but is always full of himself. If it weren't for his constant chase for leadership, and if he'd just focus on mastering his position, he could have a good chance in taking over.
