Threatened him with not playing which would mean, no chance to ever live out his dreams of one day playing for the NBA and so he got rid of the threat and competition (Dennehy) who was his roommate and friend, in my opinion. This is the saddest story and my heart aches for Patrick's family.

I've searched all over the net after watching the documentary last night, and out of the few conversations I came across (it's rarely talked about) the one thing that was not mentioned was the true involvement of Harvey and his cousin. 1. Patrick tells his family, his bestfriend back home, their roommate at the time AND goes to the coaches about the issue just DAYS before being murdered. 2. Patrick and Carlton are so worried that they went as far as purchasing several fire arms according to the roommate. 3. Bliss said himself on the secretly recorded tapes when telling Abar about the plan to get players to lie, that Harvey would certainly lie because THEY lied for him. Harvey would even lie "when the truth was easier" according to Bliss. So what did they lie about FOR Harvey? 4. Right around the time of the murder, Bliss tasked Abar with getting Harvey's cousin on a bus and the hell out of Waco. Why? So either Carlton was indeed mentally unstable and for whatever reason had a psychotic break and got Patrick to believe they were in danger, and then snapped when they went target shooting. However, I find it hard to believe that Patrick would just go along with such a fairy tale if it weren't true. Maybe the threats WERE real, and were the catalyst to get Carlton to ultimately snap? OR Harvey and his cousin really WERE threatening Patrick and Carlton, so much so that Patrick made the important people in his life aware of the situation, and even went as far as telling the coaches etc only to turn up dead a few days later ironically, at the hand of his perceived BEST FRIEND? That doesn't jive either. At the end of the day, I think there is far more to this than originally got out. You have a coach who broke some serious rules and was even trying to conspire with players in regards to a MURDER investigation who faced ZERO charges strangely, and you have 2 guys who were fingered as violent threats by the victim who passed a lie detector (which are UNREALIABLE) and you're left with a "best friend" who just suddenly snapped one day? That's it? They got a fall guy who apparently had some mental issues and the university wanted to done and over with pronto and you end up in a situation like this, with far more questions than answers. One thing is for sure however, college sports is DIRTY business.
