If i remember correctly, Bayo 1 didn't make enough to fund a Bayo 2 so Kamiya went to Both Sony and Microsoft to loan them money to finish 2. They both declined, and nintendo took them up on their offer but on the condition that bayonetta 2 has to be a Nintendo exclusive. Im guessing the same will stick for bayonetta 3.

Seriously she fucked it up on so many levels. Of course she could've straight up accepted the entire Bayo 3 role, but even after refusing and having been replaced by Jennifer Hale, she could've accepted the cameo at the very end (and probably in the very first scene), which not only would've made sense because Bayo 3 is grown up Cereza and not the Bayo from 1 and 2, but ALSO would've probably allowed her to come back for a future Bayonetta game if we were to play original Bayo again. But instead she completely annihilated her chance of being in any new Bayonetta game.

Story-whise i totally agree. Couldn't even bring myself to finish bayo3 (the tie-in spin-off "the lost demon" was *ok* at least. That one I gladly played all the way through) An eventual Bayo 4 needs fun dialog like B2, gameplay like B3 and a finale like B1 (bayo 2 finale didn't impress me)

@tiziossidiano4573 I had to kinda push myself to finish 3. It was....interesting. I saw the plot twist a mile away. 3 pales in comparison to 2 and 1. 2 especially. But at least the game was fun in 3. Even though the story is lackluster

FUNFACT! This was the game that made me realize I was a lesbian. So the gameplay experience was like this: "Oh boy, she sure is pretty! I hope this doesn't awaken anything in me!" And then i realized I was a lesbian
