I had a crush on mitzi kapture and on brooke burns as well. They were my 2 faves on season 9. For season 8 it was Taylor, and Donna. However too me my very first baywatch crush was yasmine bleeth aka caroline Holden. I had classmates who were always talking about Pamela Anderson my reply nobody compares to yasmine.

Does anyone know why a fan-made intro was used rather than the official intro used during the original airings? I like this fan-made intro but I don't understand why it was used.

This is the german version, the overlay graphic is very bad and looks really cheapy!

Paul Stokes - it isn’t fan made. When the series was remastered they changed all the seasons to have the full opening song. It’s the same on Amazon Prime in Australia (except we don’t have the German writing) This particular season had the shortened version originally - which I like - season 1 had an entirely different song originally, but in the remaster it gets “I’m always here” as it’s theme. I do wonder how Jeremy Jackson (Hobie) feels about this version though. In its original run his title would appear if he was in the episode. Since the remaster, he no longer appears in season 9 credits, even when he is featured. I also don’t like the fact that they fiddled with Nicole Eggert’s (Summer) credits in the season 3 and 4 remasters - her emerging from pool and riding JetSki are missing. But over all, looks brilliant in HD.

Amazon Prime in the UK, is using the short original version of the intro! Funny to see that some countries gets a longer intro for season 9

After a weak and disappointing season 8 they had found their footing again on this season only to head for that stupid Hawaii idea what torpedoed the whole show and it got cancelled.

Mitch finally had some chemistry again with another actress and they threw it away. Had they stayed with this cast and location Baywatch might have seen another 3 to 5 seasons after this.
