A message from Ustadh Nouman concerning the ongoing genocide occurring in Palestine: "Our hearts continue to grieve because of what is happening in Palestine. To add salt to the wound, the callous manipulation by media outlets to dehumanise the Palestinians is relentless. Make no mistake. What is happening right now is a genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. Whoever denies this or tries to justify the ruthless murder of over 6000 Palestinians will go down in history as being an enabler and supporter of this genocide. My heart breaks from reading accounts of Gazans who share what is currently happening on the ground, only for them to go silent and realise that they have been killed. Yes we are all making dua for the Palestinians but there is more that we can do because for the first time, there has been a significant shift in public perception of this "conflict". The narrative has changed. And that is because of every single person who is talking about Palestine. Every person who attends the protests, every post on Social Media, every conversation you have in your circles is making a difference. Don't stop posting. Don't stop amplifying the voices of the people who need it the most. My team and I will use our platform to raise awareness continuously. We have a chance to let this conversation reach the world like never before. The iron is hot and though I’m late to this amazing movement around the world on social media for which I am sorry, any addition to this call for justice and humanity can only help. The second thing that I urge all Muslims to do is to read. Read and become more informed. Read about your history so that you can detect the lies that the media tries to convince us are the truth. The politics of the situation is not something we should see as optional to educate ourselves on. This is our situation. It is not complex. Thirdly I urge you to learn how the media industry works. Learn about how language is manipulated so that you can understand why Palestinians die but Israelis are killed. Have respectful but well articulated and fact checked discussions with non Muslims. Continue to present this as an issue that should concern all human beings. Learn about how the media works so that you can detect dishonest journalism and expose its hypocrisy. But remember that the plight of the Palestinians is not an opportunity to content farm or to garner likes from the humiliation of others. We carry ourselves with dignity and respect always. Fourthly I urge everyone to stay safe. People are being doxxed. People are losing their jobs for even liking something pro Palestine. People are being arrested. Our Muslim sisters are facing public attacks. The 6 year old Wadea Al Fayoume was murdered in Chicago. Protect yourselves and stay safe. I know I’m not saying anything you don’t already know. I’m just encouraging myself and you and reinforcing this message because it is something we can do to make some impact in this crucial moment. May Allah protect our beloved ummah."

My dear brother. I am a Canadian originally from Gaza. Just last week, I tragically lost 13 of my cousins and their families in the heart of Khan Younis. Among them were seven children, including a six-month-old who sadly did not survive and a nine-year-old who is still alive but critically injured. I am deeply concerned about my remaining cousins and their families. It's disheartening to see that Western media isn't covering the tragedies we are enduring. Instead, they seem to focus on justifying the actions of the IDF as self-defence. The bombs used in these attacks come from the United States and are given to fighters who are well aware of which houses shelter innocent children and civilians. It's as if Western media is turning a blind eye to our suffering." we need to stop this Genocide sooner, not later. We are humans who can not tolerate more loss in our families and people)

It just came to me that there is so much wisdom in Allah's plan and how we can never understand why do good or bad especially the bad things happen. I never actually fully understood what could be the wisdom behind Allah letting these tyrants have complete power and act like narcissistic gods when one lighting strike would've been enough. While listening to this khutbah and reading the ayah of surah ghaffir - it dawns on me how many parallels we're seeing between this historical event of the past and what we're witnessing currently. History does have a frightening way to repeat itself. I pray with all my heart that Allah helps the people of Gaza the way He helped Musa A.S. May we soon see a free and victorious Palestine 🙏💪

Still I am so glad to see that you weren’t turning a blind eye & that you’ve made your stance very clear to anyone attentive enough while staying hidden from thos who mean harm to our ummah & our deen. & I applaud you for the creative choice of khutba to express these ideas, I doubt many would’ve been able to come up with that. ومرة اخرى جزاك الله خيراً كثيراً وبارك الله بك وبمن يعمل معك على هداية الناس وتثبيتهم، وجمعنا الله في الأقصى الشريف وثم في الفردوس الأعلى. آمين

Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to have speakers like Nauman Ali Khan. He beautifully compares the present situation with the past history mentioned in the Qur'an. There is no direct addressing of the current situation, yet when I was hearing his narration from the Qur'an, it just seemed like the present scenario reeling in my mind. This can only strengthen the faith more and more. Allah's ayats are for us to contemplate and learn from. May Allah (swt) guide everyone on to the straight path. May Allah (swt) bless Nauman Ali Khan for his wisdom and efforts always . ❤
